First I want to Congratulate hard working single mother Ela for winning the IWBF Title. She has really been doing good for a mom with kids and to be a boxer too her future is looking bright and I know her kids and family are happy for her.
________________________________________________________ Second Ava Knight has another boxer on her victim list and her name is Noriko Kariya. I was shocked when I heard she got knocked out but I always thought Noriko was good because she won alot of her fight then I saw her record and realize that Norko had paded opponents which goes to show padding fights doesn't help unless kepping you active but in light of this fight I think maybe Elena should fight Noriko Kariya and Ava Knight will probably fight the hawaiian mongoose ______________________________________________________ Third I am going to keep talking about this until I am blue in the face but this Saturday after hearign Mary Mcgee won against Tonya Gallegos I looked at Boxrec at lightwieghts and it has her in the top 10....enugh said....

Does anyone have any details on the Knight-Kariya fight? Any knockdowns? I heard it was a "devastating KO" from the promoter, but there were no details.

I saw stuff on fightnews.ca and insidewomenboxing.com and wban.com but most of the same info..I hate that when they don't have a video, pictures, a different version of what they thought of the fight. If I had an electric car and a camera, I would do my on commentary but I am broke...lol and half of the sites I depend on telling me stuff coverage sucks and are annoying like high chipmunk voices.

The problem isn't the promotion, I think both the promotion, trainer and fighter realize it is that fighting easy or low ranked fighters wont keep cutting but I just want to make sure they do action behind it as well.

Noriko Kariya, a 119 lb. Female bantamweight from Jersey City, NJ was KO’d at the beginning of round 5. Her opponent, Ava Knight from California used her height and reach to land effectively on Kariya. This was a real competitive matchup with both Ladies trading hard in round 3. Kariya with a good closed defense and going to the body of Knight in the earlier going, and Knight moving and jabbing. Knight unleashed a straight jab and arrow right hand that connected flush on the chin of Kariya at the opening of round 5. Referee Sparkle Lee reached the count of nine with Kariya getting to her feet, but unable to continue. Kariya falls to 9 wins 3 losses while Knight improves to 4-0 (3KO’s).

The more and the more I see and hear this Noriko Kariya is similar to Mary Mcgee except Noriko Kariya has a horrible pattern. Norkio lost against Susannah Warner, the Hawaiian Mongoose and Ava Knight.(Actual Good Boxers) NOrkio is similar to Mary Mcgee but the only thing is that Mary hasn't had the real deal boxers yet, Molly and Mia have challenged her but I think Mia vs Mary or Amy yurotack vs Mary Mcgee would be better and a good step to fighting some harder fights. Which fights for Mary Mcgee would be a good direction for her with terms of fighting harder fights in lightweight division?_____________________________________________________ Noriko won against people with more than 3 or 4 loses in the same year thats why its kinda hard to judge and realize why she lost but Noriko is and Okay boxer who I think should definetly fight Elena for an 6 or 8 rounder

Usually when you hear a boxer or a wrestler put a challenge out your usually wonder what are they going to say or do? Some wrestlers challenge someone in the crowd or on the show to take them on and see if they can beat them. They do challenges to show there amount of strength, dexterity and skill also boxers do that many of the old days remember Ali and the fighters who challenge him or who he challenge. But as we look at the female boxing world and those who challenge other boxers from: Erin toughill vs Laila Ali to Mia St John vs Christy Martin then Holm vs Sanders most of these challenges were horrible fights even Laila Ali vs Christy Martin all this matches could have been better. But todays challenge I want to talk about is Kaliesha West vs Terri lynn Cruz now Cruz has been looking for fights but I am going to say this quick and Hard Terri Lynn doesn't need her first fight to be a title fight unless she wants to end up looking bad like Oliveras or she could be like Marianna Jurazez in her latest title fight where she won but had been inactive but I hear Terri is fighting Marianne I will definetly say more about Kaliesha vs Terri after that fight but Marianne is a flyweight fighting Terri who is a light weight...in my own mind I think Maribel Zurita vs Kaliesha West would be more exciting and could happen quicker then Terri balking and refusing and slugging around the very idea of the fight but I will definetly stick to what I say that Maribel Zurita vs Kaliesha West would be a good match to see especially after she beat Bianca, it is time to see if Maribel is ready and what she is made of plus if she is ready to win back her title which was STOLEN BY SUSI. _____________________________________________________ Here is a link to why I called Terri Cruz the incredible Balk www.womenboxing.com/NEWS20082/news080508west.htm

Akondaye Fountain, Melinda Cooper, Jennifer Barber, Ann Jualton and Kaliesha West have maybe alot of things in common but the one thing they all wanted was title fights for the belt but do they deserve it?? Team Cruz asked that same question of Kaliesha West did she deserve a title fight, Team Cruz discussed how they fought all around the world and that the reason they didn't fight West sooner is because they(Cruz) are fighting Marianne in September and West should do or fight some one to deserve a shot. However if we really went on the basis of who deserve shots and who didn't well it would still be a matter of opinon and I don't think fans would still have much of a voice in who should or shouldn't because it is not a democracy and even if it was democracy can fail too with out attention, and an actual literate on the subject. Should Wang Ya Nan lose her title because of the negligence of the boxing department in China,Raymond Chang and Wang Ya Nan's team will to do nothing? Yes Some would say she should lose the title until she can fight out of her country and deal what Laura Ramsey and Akondaye had to deal with. www.womenboxing.com/NEWS20082/news072208fountain.htmwww.womenboxing.com/NEWS20082/news072408ramsey.htmShould Christy Martin have fought Mary Jo Sanders instead of Valrie Mahfood for a title shot? Of course it would have been at least a little bit more exciting that Mahfood but we will never know until Christy or Mary challenges each other. The basic point is before you fight for a title you should fight another high level opponent the same year you have a title shot so you can stay active at least and that nothing is a democracy.

Since the begining of the week ever since Kaliesha West team ask for a shot for the title against Terri Cruz, it seems to have started a war and now Elizabeth Virreal has got into it with Kaliesha. Here is a link to read more: www.womenboxing.com/NEWS20082/news080708villerreal.htmDoes anyone remember what happens when you as a boxer keep fighting in your home town all the time, well it makes you look bad or overrated however in the previous respond by Team West had mention that they took down the most toughest opponents like Suzannah Warner and Carley Batey and Elizabeth V. But Elizabeth said she lost because of home town advantage.. Carley Batey has been beat by Ana Jualton and Jennifer Barber... So The question of the day is Kaliesha West overrated??
