Yeah, she's the number one name in women's boxing.
Yeah, she's a promoters dream, in women's boxing.
Yeah, she's an "Ali"...
All of that is NOT BS.
Now the BS...hell Laila, why not make the most by fighting the best? Isn't it painfully obvious that Laila thinks Anne will "tire out" and retire so then Laila can say, Wolfe is ducking me.
That's your money fight. That's your career fight. And that's your only fight.
Simple fact, you will NOT have a big list of female "heavy" fighters who can fight. EVER!
Fact, 105 to 135 will be where the MOST ATHLETIC WOMEN will be. The heavies will always be a small number.
Laila, start acting like a real ALI. Your dad fought everybody- most twice. He had the heart of a lion. You have the heart of a "lawyer". Sad as nuts to say.
You can imagine how vibrant women's boxing would be if Laila Ali "challenged the world". Hell she's afraid of Lucia Rijker! Anne Wolfe too!
The lady that I think is the "saviour" of women's boxing is Ms. Lamare. This lady is all tiger all the time. She's not in there to win, she's in there to win by KO !
Maybe Marcel can provide some insight into the Lamare - Mathis fight...but when I watched Lamare beat Elena to a pulp, she literally was throwing for a KO with EVERY punch. She was like an early tyson- no set up, just SLAM!
Lamare VS. Anani, with Sumya in shape, mentally-physically and technically, would be an incredible fight.
That's the sad state of women's boxing. As Elvis would say, "too much talk and not enough action!"
