Congrats to both of you!!. I heard it was a clear decision from people who were ringside. Wish I could have been there, but I have to be at work pretty early. I heard the "new" CA boxing commissioner is a real stickler - weigh ins have to be 7PM the night before, they are being really picky about tape one cm back from the knuckles, they are restricting what you can drink in the changeroom, plus you have to weigh in pre and post bout. Did you guys have to go through all that?? Dee H

It was crazy . It was like we were there for a reason, to fight and win a title. And it seemed that they the commission were there to make sure we did not fight. But at the end after 2 bad days , Sarah won what she trained and fought for, revenge and the real WIBF title.I was happy for Sarah I am so glad all these other girls Jumped ship,It is so good to see Sarah get all these shot's that I can get a fighter. And the unloyals they can do what they are doing now and thats set back and watch.WOW!!!! Fighting and winning a world title on ESPN 2 ,This is what I should have been doing all along.Sarah deserves all that she got.She worked very hard and came out on top ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Thats what dreams are made of !

Stacy, Sarah didnt make the 100 lb limit for this fight (because Dean Louhas wouldnt let you weigh in the day before, because all the medicals had not been filed) AND the fight was only 8 rounds. also, they didnt mention the WIBF title on the telecast or the ring announcements. so i dont see how she can be the new WIBF champion, unless of course Ms Butrick decided to recognize Sarah as champion because the sanction fee was already paid. this was possably the case here. Ms Butrick shouldve held off on sanctioning this fight in California, and carried the sanctioning over to Arkansas, where you shouldve had Sarah fight Hollie Dunaway, to determine the true champion at 100-102 lbs! RYAN Ryan You are right there are some world titles out there that just rank fighters cause they think they would be good in bed , or that they keep champions holding titles that are knowns drug users , Or sanction fights for a title on ESPN 2 for the whole world to see when a chalenger has lost 4 fights in a row. just so they cant get a free tickets to go see there father,,,,The title was on the line , Sarah made weight(99)the day of the weigh in!! The comissioner has told Barbra and and Sue Fox, And the WIBF is the real world title , and some fighters will even lie & cheat to try and obtain one.But Sarah did nether. P.S. And if Hollie wants to talk this here , then she sould post. Not the acting booky manager ! Stacy"Goodnight"Goodson

Ryan You are right there are some world titles out there that just rank fighters cause they think they would be good in bed
==who have i rated because i thought they'd be "good in bed"? many female boxers are lesbians (no disrespect intended towards them) so its not like i'm involved in this sport trying to get laid. most of the participants simply arent into men! while we're on this subject, i could bring up some points involving Melissa Shaffer who you used to manage, but i wont go that route. i dont need to stoop to your level.==
,or that they keep champions holding titles that are knowns drug users,
==i've had 1 fighter fail a drug test fighting for a WIBA title, Gina Guidi. and she got stripped.==
Or sanction fights for a title on ESPN 2 for the whole world to see when a chalenger has lost 4 fights in a row.
==you must be refering to Cassandra Geigger. nobody else was willing to fight Laila Ali for that fight. you know that!==
just so they cant get a free tickets to go see there father,,,,
==i am capable of buying my own tickets, thank you very much.==
The title was on the line , Sarah made weight(99)the day of the weigh in!! The comissioner has told Barbra andand Sue Fox, And the WIBF is the real world title ,
==many people would argue that WIBF lacks credability because they sanction many mismatches and mediocre fights.==
and some fighters will even lie & cheat to try and obtain one.But Sarah did nether.
==Sarah didnt have to lie or cheat, because she was able to fight a so-so fighter for that belt. there are numerous women at that weight that are better fighters then Sandra Ortiz and your wife. WIBA would not of sanctioned a fight with Ortiz and Goodson, simply because there are better fighters in the division, like Hollie Dunaway, Krisztina Belinszky, and numerous girls from asia.==
P.S. And if Hollie wants to talk this here , then she sould post. Not the acting booky manager !Stacy"Goodnight"Goodson ==Hollie wont get involved in this discussion because she doesnt want to stoop to your level. i cant say i blame her.== RYAN

Dee, why did you use quotes to describe Dean Louhas as the "new" California commisioner?
has he been an acting director previously?
also can you (or anyone) tell me anymore about him, including how to contact him.
(not about this fight) its about KB issues.
thanks
dan
