From WBAN:
Laracuente to fight Yankovich (FEB 26)
On March 17, 2007, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Belinda Laracuente of the United States will be fighting Brazil's Duda Yankovich. The two will be fighting for the (140-lb) WIBA junior welterweight title belt.
Yankovich was scheduled to fight the tough Angel Martinez.
Yankovich "dodged a bullet", in my opinion.

Belinda Laracuente is the 3rd different opponant lined up for this fight with Duda. Jane Couch was our original opponant, but she opted for another fight in Africa over this fight in Brazil with Duda. Angelica Martinez was the 2nd opponant, and yes she is the best of the 3 opponants. she signed the contract and everything, but she is not able to obtain a US passport in time for the fight. Duda was totally willing to fight Angelica, and i was very much looking forward to sanctioning it. i hope to have Duda fight Angelica sometime later this year. Belinda Laracuente should make a pretty interesting match with Duda. she has way more experience then Duda, and she may give her some trouble. RYAN

If the fight wasn't in Brazil, Laracuente would be the favorite. Still, even with home town judges, it should be a close bout. Laracuente has tons of experience, is still relatively young, and her biggest problem was the frequently of her bouts against the best fighters in too many weight classes (at least five, maybe six) which means she is constanly trying to make weight.

Duda Yankovich will probably win the decision - it's her hometown.
Belinda Laracuente has become the "name" opponent for the top fighters. Team Mrdjenovich claimed they fought her became she had defeated Ann Marie Saccurato. In reality, Laracuente is the defeat-able celebrity fighter.
Laracuente is a much better athlete than her record indicates. She should concentrate her efforts on one weight class.
