Jane Couch was originally set to fight Duda Yankovich in Sao Paulo, Brazil for Duda's WIBA World Title. Couch's camp and the Brazilian promoter had a verbal agreement, but with no contract signed, Couch opted to take another fight in Africa. Angelica Martinez has agreed to step in to fight Duda in Sao Paulo for the title. the fight date has been pushed back from March 3rd to March 17th. Yankovich vs Martinez is a better fight (in my opinion) then Yankovich vs Couch. RYAN

today i talked to Boxu Potts, who wants Gisselle Salandy to fight for the WIBA Light Middleweight Title IF Mary Jo Sanders vacates that belt to move up in weight. Boxu told me that Jill Emery might fight Salandy next month. i actually had Jill agreed to fight Duda, but Duda has never fought a southpaw before, and she doesnt want to start now! i cant say i blame her. everything worked out well, because now we have a better fight with Yankovich vs Martinez in Sao Paulo.

Africa seems to be the new hotbed. We also have a Stacy "Goodnight" Goodson sighting in Philly this weekend, as his guy, Marcus Big Tuna Rhoade tries to score a minor upset over former world hwt champ Bruce Seldon at the Kline Jewish Center.
