I think Clampitt will be motivated, but I wonder if she owns a pair of track shoes. If you watched the bout between St. John and Jelena Mrdjenovich, you wouldn't confuse effective ring movement with running from an opponent. I knew there was something missing from women’s professional boxing for 2007 but I was unable to identify the omission. Some competitive bouts, mismatches, promoter posturing, and other standard fare occurred in the first month of the year. Then I realized what was omitted. It’s Bernie McCoy’s regular criticisms of Mia St. John. Now that void has been filled as he has sniped St. John once again. Bernie McCoy, your body of work contains dozens of examples documenting your disdain for St. John. I’ll send these references to St. John. You could be a topic in her upcoming tell-all book.

I think Clampitt will be motivated, but I wonder if she owns a pair of track shoes. I hope she does. If she stands in front and mixes without using lateral movement, things will be tougher than they should be for her.
