Hello,
I'm new to following women's boxing, but have trained in Muay Thai for 12 years. In women's Muay Thai knockouts are not uncommon, but it's not that common for someone to get knocked out cold. I've been knocked out twice once I was just dazed the second time I was completely out cold.
I follow women's Muay Thai and MMA pretty closely and can come up with a pretty good list of fighters who have been knocked out cold. I would think that it's more common in women's boxing for fighters to get knocked unconscious. In Muay Thai a punch is the lowest scoring technique and I think this contributes to the infrequency of fighters getting knocked cold, but in women's boxing I would expect it's more common.
I've seen Vonda Ward getting knocked out cold but I don't know of any other fighters who have been knocked cold? Am I wrong to assume it's more common in women's boxing?
Who are some fighters who have been knocked out cold?
Thanks Cammy

Wasn't Lucia Rijker knocked out cold against that guy in kickboxing? Not 100% sure, but I thought I saw a pic of her out cold on the mat after that fIASCO.

Aasa was actually TKO'ed by Ijeoma, not K'O, so get your facts straight.
