Kasha is really stepping up and going to Europe to do it!
Hats off to her! Takes alot of guts to step in with Menzer who has the best technique I've seen in years.
To beat a german in germany you have to put the german on the mat, no other way to go!
Good Luck Kasha!

I hope Kasha is alright. Sounds like she took a huge beating. Menzer is one of the best ever. But as Marcel sorta intimated, if she ( Menzer) wants to fight you, you have some sort of flaw that she's seen. And you can't square up or push punches.

I believe I picked Menzer for fighter of the year last December. I know I picked her as the best pound for pound European fighter last year. Nothing she has accomplished this year suprises me. This year, I would have to split the prize with Mathis, but Ina may well be Germany's answer to who replaces Halmich as top female draw in that country. I suspect Halmich will retire before 2007 is over.

I suspect Halmich will retire before 2007 is over. Len, I just watched the chamblin-menzer fight... Chamblin was all heart and no technique. Menzer was technically perfect, full of fire and sees/attacks openings with the fastest reaction time I have seen in a long time. With that said, this fight was a mismatch. Chamblin lowers her left after jabbing...and stands flat footed in front of opponent...a perfect target for Menzer. And Menzer delivered the right hand like it was a freight train on a striaght line from her guard to the side of Chamblin's WIDE open jaw. Chamblin has a ton of heart, she wanted to continue...thankfully she was prevented by the ref. Menzer is so far above 98% of all women boxers...she needs to really step up her level of opposition or just walk away...Anyos would be an interesting fight...I'd love to see Mel Cooper come up a bit. You called it right! TD
