Burton V. Ali-competitive or not?

I have to hand it to Ms. Burton for taking on ALI- she's got guts left over for everyone at MSG!

But...the last tape I saw on her showed Ali V. Burton to be a significant mis-match.

Does she have a chance? YES. But its gonna take a super shot thrown perfectly as Ali comes at her. Shelley back up, back up, and then VAULT a right hand over Ali's jab the second before you think she's gonna follow up.

Meanwhile, I wonder why ALI fights at all, if all she can do is try to pressure great fighters into accepting weak purses the entire time knowing that only a weak fighter would accept a weak purse to fight her.

Ms.Wolfe has her looking at getting a new "TRIPLE wide kidney-groin protector"- its called THE SUPER INSULTING LO-BALL PURSE OFFER. No harm can come to Ali as long as she offers Wolfe peanuts.

Anne, forget her...just keep fighting. The world knows ALI is ducking you.

And don't get me started on ALI ducking Rijker...now that IS a shame because HBO would put Rijker on a cablecast in a heartbeat. Emmanual loves Lucia. Even the Merch would want to see Lucia. Lampley, well, he's NOT what boxing is all about.

Won't happen on HBO...ESPN maybe. What ESPN has to do is feature another one of those 24.95 star-studded PPV cards like they had last year and put them on.

I love Lucia Rijker, but let's be honest, if she can't stop Fettkether or Couch ( as is the case in her last fights ) she sure as hell won't pull off a win against Ali. Lucia needs to be looking at upping the profile she garnered with 'Million Dollar Baby' to get herself more widely known which in turn will gnerate better money and then step in the ring with fighters like Sumya Anani or Terri Blair before worrying about Laila Ali.

Danni..just so you know, Sunshine fought both Ann Wolfe and Lucia and said LUCIA hits harder. Matter of fact she said Lucia shots were the hardest she's been hit in the ring.

Couch and Rijker was a comeback-tuneup for Lucia...not her best showing.

Lucia would make Ali look like a fool...look at this way, Ali can make more money fighting Lucia than anyone else, yet she refuses. Why is that...IF as you say, Lucia is no threat? Reason, Lucia would jump all over her and hit her with shots Ali has never seen or felt before.
