HOLM TO BATTLE TURTON IN " TRIPLE THREAT" Fresquez Productions announced today at Isleta Casino that Albuquerque's Holly Holm (15-1-2, 5 KOs) will fight Tricia Turton (8-1, 3 KOs) on Friday, Dec. 1 when she headlines "Triple Threat". Holm will be moving up to 154 to fight for the vacant IFBA junior middleweight belt against Turton, Holm holds the IBA Women's 140-pound belt and WBA world welter title, this will be Holm's attempt to become a three time champion in three different weight division.
Repeating my opinion from a previous thread, no team with any respect for its fighter would send her to compete against Holly Holm in Albuquerque. There is no chance of success at this venue.
This fight will probably end in a decision. Tricia Turton is a tough athlete and has defeated the skilled veteran Lisa Holewyne twice and recently went the distance with the hard-hitting boxer Mary Jo Sanders - a feat Holm will probably not duplicate. And the 8-1 Turton has fought four times on the road, winning three – successes Holm cannot claim.
But the contest is in Albuquerque. Based on the official scoring of Holm’s bouts with Angelica Martinez and Jane Couch, I have calculated a 40 percent hometown bias factor for this contest. Tricia Turton will be behind four rounds when the fight starts.

But she would be good on Dancing Wid Da Stars. How any judge can give her a round aFTER she lands nothing, dances around the outside for 2 minutes and gets tagged occasionally is an outrage. Truthfully, I wouldn't want her on any card UNLESS it was a 10 foot ring. Kind a like the Rockem Sockem Robot ring of yesteryear. BIAS FACTOR= HUGE IN THE DUKE CITY. TD

Her style is akin to Paul Spadafora's or Cory Spinks. Either you love it or hate it. I love watching pure boxers almost as much as I enjoy two bangers.
