Next week is busy so I will start with a partial listing.
Thursday, August 31st, the AROTO show in Lake Tahoe, California: Headline bout is Elena Reid 17-3-5 (5) against Mary Ortega 28-2-1 (7) for the WIBA flyweight title. A rare situation where Reid goes into a fight as the underdog. On the undercard: A middleweight rematch between southpaw Erin Toughill 7-2-1 and Laura Ramsey 5-2-1 (1) where Ramsey prevailed by UD last January. Also a welterweight bout between Daria Hill 3-3 (3) and Jill Emery 6-0 (3) which has a good chance of ending in a KO and a featherweight bout between Melissa Hernandez 4-0-1 (1) against debuting Stacy Rogers.
Saturday, September 1. Whiting, Indiana: Amy Yuatovac 4-0 (4) vs. KeLah Pollari 0-1 in a welterweight four. No one knows if Yuratovac is for real or not. She has TKOed four opponents in six rounds (10 minutes 33 seconds) but her opponents combined record is 0-10.
In East Peoria, Illinois: Geboria Mayfield 1-0 (1) vs debuting Brooke Bierdorff in a light welter four. In Tulsa, Oklahoma: Jessica Mohs 5-12-1 (1) in a competitive featherweight bout against Cindy Christian 1-4-1.
Then there is the Jelena Mrdjenovich 17-1-(11) lightweight non-title eight rounder against Olga Heron 4-6-1 (1). They have met twice before and Olga gave a good account of herself in both losses.
I will complete next weekend forcast tommorrow or Sunday.

Here is the rest of next weekends fights:
Saturday, September 2nd. In Kenya, hometown fighter Conjestina Achieng 9-2-3 (4) is fighting a ten round middleweight (title?) fight against American, Tiffany Carter 4-0 (2). Carter hasn't fought since September 2001 and her four victories were against opponents whose total records were 2-10. The card does not mention which sanctioning body is calling this a title fight, but my guess is the WIBF since they have sanctioned such travesties in the past.
In Acupulco, Mexico: Zulina Munoz 9-0 (8) is fighting Fredee Gonzalez 1-1-1 in another ten round travesty for the women's NABF bantam title.
In Bakersfield, California Trudy Mayes 1-1 and Demi Nguyen 1-1 will repeat their October 2005 fight (won by Mayes) in a middleweight four.
In Los Angeles, on the James Toney-Samuel Peter Heavyweight title card, Jessica Rakoczy 23-2 (8) is supposed to fight a six round lightweight bout. They still don't have an opponent for her. This is the same problem they had in Lemoore, California the last time she was supposed to fight after the championship rematch bout with Eliza Olson fell through. No one wants to fight Jessica.

It's not the WIBF Len...Achieng fight. They take her out of the ratings because of refusing fights.

Here is a new one for Thursday, August 31st. In Bangkok, Thailand there are two female fights on the card. Teammates (same trainer) Siriporn Sor Siriporn (born: Siriporn Thaveesuek) 5-2 (2) and Nongmai Sor Siriporn (born: Wannee Chaisena) 4-1 (2); both minimumweights are both scheduled but no opponents are yet posted.

Still no opponent for Rakoczy on Saturday. I doubt they will come up with anybody credible at the last moment, so I bet she will miss another scheduled fight date.
