Friday, August 11: In a debut four rounder in Odessa, Texas; Krystle Davis against Susan Winners. In a four round feather in Chester, West Virginia; Melinda Woody 1-1 vs Leslie Perella 3-1-1 (2). Also, in Santa Fe, Argentina; Bettina Carino 0-2-1 vs Silvia Gervasi 0-2-0 (someone has to get on the winning side of the ledger).
Saturday, August 12: Two title fights! The good one is in Buenos Aires, Argentina with Marcela Eliana Acuna 19-5 (12) fighting Anays Cecillia Gutierrez Carrillo 9-0-1 (2) for the WBA's first female super bantam title. The bad one is in Hammameth, Tunisia where Natalie Toro 14-1 (6) should have little trouble with Daniela David 3-9 (1) for the WIBF lightweight belt.
Two more four round bouts on Saturday. One is in Russellville, Arkansas between Savanah Hill 2-4 (2) and Angie Wilson 0-1. The other is in Marksville, Louisiana whewre featherweight Kasha (the Fighting Marine) Chamblin 6-2 (4) takes on TBA.

Changes? Additions!
Sarah Goodson 20-15-1 (7) has been added to Saturday's Russelville, Arkansas card. Sarah's opponent is Nikki Verbek 1-12 in a four round minimumweight bout which should been a tune-up for Sarah's WIBF title fight against Sandra Ortiz 7-4-1 (4) on September 23.
Also on the Russelville card, Savannah Hill's opponent is now listed as Louise Wilson (no record) not Angie Wilson.
Lastly, I can no longer find any mention of The Toro - David fight originally scheduled for Saturday in Tunisa. If it was called off, then I say hooray because it would have been a lopsided beatdown by Toro that the WIBF should never have sanctioned.

It has been postponed, which is another word for: won't happen.

Thank You Marcel!!! Also, according to Women's Boxing News: Kasha Chamblin still doesn't have an opponent for Saturday. Two opponents have pulled out and it is likely her fight won't be on the Louisiana card.
