Lamare V. Mathis, this Dec....does Mathis have a snowballs chance in hell of walking out of the ring on her own two feet?
Lamare is the NEW Mike Tyson of women's boxing ( yes, Lucia was the old one). Her third fight with Elena, wow, she was trying to "kill" her. It was amazing to watch what seemed to be a tiger on "steroids" ( not in the literal sense) just wade thru Elena's jab and throw bomb after bomb. It was one of the worst beatings in female boxing that I have ever seen.
Mathis has one of the fluffiest records I've seen. But she did beat Toro...
So Marcel, speak freely...

TD I agree, but I wanted to leave the "not in the literal sense" part away. I have a strong feeling that if she ever was to fight in Germany, she would fail the test big time! But that's just an assumption as pics don't tell the whole story. I just thought she went through an amazing change physically. As far as Mathis goes: that woman is one TOUGH cookie. Skillwise she doesn't have a chance. She is too much of a kickboxer. But she is physically very strong and is tall. She has a lot of raw power and is quite a big puncher. She doesn't always respond well to high pressure. Could be an interesting fight. Yes she has a padded record, but so has Lamare. But Mathis stops those who others cannot stop.

Hey Marcel...good observations, good answers.
Lamare does have some manifestations of possible steroid use...biceps aside, look at the changes in the shape of her jaw. The other's being uncontrolled emotions(agression), extrodinary growth in muscle mass as a 5 of bodyweight, lowering of voice and of course an up-sized clitoris.
Your read on Mathis... she can hit but she has upright stance (kickers stance) and has a problem closing range(technique). Those make her an ideal target for an inside, lower center of gravity, round shot throwing banger like Lamare.
Can Mathis convince herself that she can beat Lamare?
