Looks like a light schedule this week.
Thursday in Canyonville, Oregon: Kelsey Jeffries 33-9 (2) defends her IFBA junior featherweight title against Melissa Hernandez 3-0 (1), and in a second distaff bout Molly McConnell 5-1 (2) fights Victoria Cisneros in a junior welterweight tussle. Also on Wednesday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina: Nigerian Ijeona Egbunine 11-1 (7) comes down from light heavy to fight Swede Asa Sandell in an eight round super middleweight bout.
Friday in Tampa Bay Florida: Super featherweight Jenna Shiver 1-1-1 is scheduled against TBA; and in Quinnette, Georgia Lori Rivas mkes her debut as a light welterweight against TBA.
Finally, Saturday on the undercard of the Taylor-Wright card, Ann Wolfe 23-1 (16) is scheduled to fight a six rounder against TBA.
If I can find any additional bouts, I will update this post.

Additional women's bout this weekend. On Sunday, June 18 in Oklahoma City: Stephanie Dobbs 22-20-2 (13) fights Deidre Hamaguchi 1-7-2 for something called the WIBA Intercontinental Mini-Flyweight Title. To sanction anyone with a 1-7-2 record to fight for a pro title is a travesty. However, Deidre and Steph have had two past encounters. They fought to a draw on 4-2-03 and Deidre got her only win in a four round UD over Steph on 6-7-03. I am sure Team Dobbs has been praying for a revenge match ever since. Despite the past draw and loss, I expect Mrs. Dobbs to prevail Sunday.

Dee Hamaguchi Fights For Women’s Title Sunday In OklahomaSweet Science photojournalist in Oklahoma title fight Ladies Night comes to Remington Park on Sunday, June 18, when two thoroughbreds from the sport of women’s boxing square off in the first female title fight ever held in Oklahoma. The Sweet Science’s Deidre Hamaguchi squares off against Stephanie Dobbs in the ten-round main event for the vacant WIBA Intercontinental Mini Flyweight title (105) pounds. Four other bouts will precede the title bout. Hamaguchi, the only female graduate of Yale University (1987) ever to compete in professional boxing, faces Dobbs, a local favorite from nearby Moore, for the third time. In April, 2003, the two fought to a four-round draw in Stateline, NV. Two months later Hamaguchi won a four-round unanimous decision in Laughlin, NV. Both fights were described in ringside press reports as the “fight of the night” for their relentless nonstop action. Fans at Remington Park on June 18 can expect more of the same – this time over ten rounds and with a title belt at stake. Since their last bouts, Dobbs has fought extensively in the U.S., Europe and Asia. By contrast, Hamaguchi has had only three fights since decisioning Dobbs. Hamaguchi has concentrated on her dual careers of teaching high school mathematics and science in L.A. and her distinguished work as a photojournalist covering the sport of boxing. Despite her inactivity in the ring, Hamaguchi has maintained her training regimen and says she’s in ring ready condition. “Another bout with Stephanie was too good to pass up. I enjoyed the first two and I know the fans did as well and June 18 will be more of the same.” The five bout card is being promoted by Po’ Boy Boxing, Jim Smith President, Oklahoma City. The Ann Wolfe six round undercard fight (Taylor-Wright card) in Memphis on Saturday is in jepardy with prospective opponent Gwen O'Neil pulling out saying it may jepardize an August fight she has booked in South Africa. Is she the Laila Ali opponent we have been wondering about?
Poor Ann. Nobody will fight her. This was Sumya Anani's problem. Get rusty and someone can take you out even if you are ahead on the cards. Ann's getting up ther in age and can't box forever.

The Ijeoma Egbunine-Asa Sandell fight in Winston-Salem which had been listed for Thursday is on Saturday. Joining the card are Light Heavyweights Veronica Rucker 1-5-1 (1) vs Alexandra Maloy 2-2-1.
In tonights bout in Tampa Bay, Jenna Shiver's opponent is Ashlyn Johnson 1-3 (1).
Although it is next week Tuesday, I like the catchweight bout in Calabasas, California. Light welterweight Crystal Morales 4-2-1 (1) against Super featherweight Lissette Medel 1-0 in a four round lightweight bout.
