Fairly busy week ahead startin on Tuesday in Prague, Czech Republic with 2-0 Karolina Lukasik of Poland taking on Larisa Berezenko of the Ukraine in a light middleweight bout. Don't let Larisa's 0-5 record fool you. She has fought Jane Couch twice, Anne Sophie Mathis twice, and Myriam Lamere.
The Premiere fight of the week is in Brescia, Italy just outside of Milan where hometown southpaw Stefania Bianchini 14-2-1 (2) takes on Hagar Shmoulkfeld of Isreal 8-3-3 (1) for the WBC version of the flyweight title.

Thread continued: Other bouts on Friday include lightweights Rita Figueroa 7-0 (3) vs Eva Lidia Silva 4-5 in a rematch of their March bout that Rita won by TKO. In Manistee, Michigan: Lt. Welter Natalie Brown squares off against Kimberly Jackson. In a bunch of TBA bouts, Valanna McGee 11-2-2 (5) is fighting in Sacramento; Guillermina Fernandez 0-4 is fighting in Buenos Aires; and Monica Lovato 6-1 (3) is fighting in Las Vagas.
Saturday, in Sao Paula, Brazil: Duda Yankovich 2-0 (2) formerly of Serbia, is fighting the experienced and very youthful Angie Rocha 3-2-1 1NC who has been in with much better opponents than Duda. In Mexico City, Ana Maria Torres 12-1-1 (8) will be the heavy favorite to win the Mexican Bantam Title over Gloria Rios 3-4-1 who normally fights at flyweight. In Albuquerque, New Mexico: hometown girl Jody Esquibel 2-0 (2) is in a Light Flyweight tilt with Bianca Ledezma 0-0-1. In two TBA bouts: Lightweight Lena Taylor 1-0 (1) is fighting in Orlando, Florida; and in Vienna, Austria: Bantamweight Flora Lihet 3-1 (3) of Romania is fighting somebody. I love Vienna, but I found the Austrians can be as rude as the French.
