Here's some British coverage of the upcoming tilt between Jane Couch and Elena Tverdokhleb.

"Bristol's Jane Couch, a 6-time World champion, will make her bow in the Second City, as she takes on tough Ukrainian light welterweight, Elena Tverdokhleb. The fight is scheduled for six rounds, in what should be a tough nights work for the “Fleetwood Assassin” Couch, a professional since 1994, is somewhat of a legend in the professional women's boxing circuit. Couch successfully sued the British Boxing Board of Control, over their refusal to accept women's boxing. Jane is coming off a win, which she scored In February of 2006, against Bulgarian Galina Gumliiska- Couch won in round 3, but had beaten this lady in 6, back in 2000. Couch has lost gallantly too, Lucia Rijker (points), Jessica Rakoczy (TKO by 6) and Myriam Lamare (KO by 3), those fighters are seen to be the worlds best.
Tverdokhleb, who brings a 4-6 (3) record, has only lost to the best. Elena has conceded two verdicts to WBA female light welterweight champion Myriam Lamare, before being stopped in 10, by the same woman in an attempt at her World title in April 2005- The Ukrainian's last fight. Tverdokhleb has also lost twice to European champion Nathalie Toro (points).
Couch, 27-8 (9) will be favoured to win, although it may not be plain sailing. Tverdokhleb has lost to Toro and Lamare (Couch has also), but it was reported that she was far more competitive than Couch was. That makes this fight intriguing, for Couch and for the spectator, as a loss would surely spell the end of this magnificent career. Couch may have seen better days, but I still think she will too much for Tverdokhleb (who's never been stopped) and grind out a close points win. "
