Salandy scoed a UD. 97-94 on all 3 cards. Spotlight will likely protest the result. I think a few bodies will honour the protest..for other reasons. We'll see.

i cannot wait to hear the details on this=sounds like deja vous all over again. NOW you all know why I walked out of that cesspool 2 years ago=they refuse to do the right thing ever=procedural wise or morally -i said it before and will say it again=everyone must boycott trinidad until there is a change. the wibc will not even RANK a trinidad fighter unless we have assurances they will never fight down there. i hope spotlight raises holy hell. thanks for the news marcel=did you go? how about it ryan-were you there?

I would love to hear opinions on the result from anyone who actually saw the fight. Was this event televised in Trinidad & Tobago, will there ever be a video available of this?

The press release:

here is rough translation--
The press release:
Beschiss on Trindad: Karolina Lukasik loses disputed and/or "pushed" point defeat under suspicious circumstances against Salandy for spotlight-boxer
On the basis of various anti-competitive circumstances, spotlight boxing against the evaluation of the battle inserted officially protest!
WIBF / GBU / WBC / WBA / WIBA / IWBF world champion hip super Welterweight
Karolina Lukasik (POLE) vs. Jisselle Salandy (TRI)
Result: L PTS: 94:97, 94:97, 94:97
Karolina Lukasiks trainer Conny Mittermeier totally infuriates of the place of the events in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago: "Karolina was deceived here regular. Salandy had generally no attitude against Karolina and permanently ran away. Defended has it itself then only with Kopfstössen and became warns also for that. All in the hall, up to the narrow clan of Salandy, Karolina saw as a victor and congratulated us even to the actual victory! One can designate what walked here, only as a farce. We have regular protest against the circumstances and this impossible evaluation of the battle eingelegt!"

I'm not going to laugh because this is not funny but i will say this remember the golden rule: Do un to others as you would want them to do un to you. In retrospect, I have never seen a Gisselle Salandy fight ever televised.. and if this was in Germany would we or someone maybe be complaining..I have to say the Christian is write on this issue because..I went by the ear and hersay of what happened Gretchen Abaniel in Korea with out seeing it and i went by heresay with Natascha's last fight even Ina too, i think the last fight i have watched was Natascha vs Fountain but thats my fault ;D but the point is its better to see than go by gossip and also when you get robbed its better to forget and become better now if Karolina lost her belts the best thing to do is have a rematch in Germany we all know there fair over there...i mean she's got to get the titles back or protest something but if we counted how many people who thought they got robbed and actually did well and who's been robbed by each continent in the world..we be counting all day and all night. ;D But i do wonder what Karolina and Giselle honestly thought about that fight...and also is this fight televised anywhere..

the UBC sanctioned the fight, so there were at least 7 belts on the line. my ex-partner Luis Bello was there supervising for the UBC. WBE probably sanctioned this fight too, so that would make 8 titles. i did not attend this fight, i had someone else supervise for me, but i was told that this was a really boring fight with very little action. Something bothers me though... have you ever wondered why no one takes pictures at some of these fights... have you ever wondered why some fights aren't offically protested against like: Follmar vs St John or Zurita vs Kentikan or Munoz vs Graf... hm.. even with Abenial getting robbed in Korea or even the fight Vaia got robbed when she went against Gracie Roca why is Spotlight Boxing protesting this particular fight... because its based in Germany..haha touche lol however i want to wait for further evidence for a clear trial lol, why further evidence you say well because Germany hasn't shown any pictures of the fight not even on spotlight where they are making the protest but i will wait till the end of the following week in the upcoming April to see for fotos but if they don't have any..well this will be kinda like Kentikan vs Zurita lol if you get my drift.

does anybody know if Trindad taped this fight or televised it, if you do please tell us, if not i am going to search and find out..lol ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am going to say one more thing...and this is all i am going to say about this fight unless someone replys to me lol.
1. A challenger will always come and push it to the limit on a unexpected fight and beat the person with titles, experience such as Monica Lovato's latest fight, Ava Knights fight with Jodi Esquibel and of course the hawiaan mongoose vs Elena Reid and Reid vs Halmich the first fight and Halmich vs Trevino (I can't think of anyothers that i have seen sorry) and sometimes they reap the glory with titles or they reap with just beating the mess out of the opponent and getting nothing..
2. We just must hope for good fight because they are rare but like the lottery you have to continue to play until you win
3 In the end Karolina's going to have to face some one tough and Gisselle will probably have to fight Sanders one day
4 when it comes to any sport there will be fans, rivals and people who like you or make videos about you

The fight was VERY BORING with little action. Salandy ran around the ring doing very litttle while Lukasik stalked her like a robot. Lukasika landed cleaner punches but needed to throw more if she wanted to win in Trinidad. She had good defense but too robotic... Salandy did nothing really... Lukasika in my book won...but she should know if she is going to the fighters home town she has to be more busy. Read articles www.trinidadexpress.com/index.pl/article?id=161301185www.newsday.co.tt/sport/0,76024.html ______________________________________________________ First Let me say this thank you for giving your opinon of the fight B.Singh (hope i spelled your name write) also i looked at the articles posted and i have to say this: After hearing one of our very own member say their opinon of the fight i have to think that even though i am glad for his response but [shadow=red,left,300]i hope and will wait for a video that WBAN requested[/shadow], not because i don't trust B but seeying is better than believing. Also when fights are this close its good to get 10 or 20 people and the video of the fight and (the clicker that determines how many times the fighter punched) then we will at least determine it alot better. Also i feel for Karolina, i remember when Elena Reid cried in those fights against Halmich, then i saw Sarah tear full in Germany, something about a women crying tears your soul into pieces but one thing I will give to Susi K she at least came to Sarah's aid i Think before gloating and made sure sarah was okay which i admit shockingly almost made me want to cry lol you never imagine some people can be that nice especially boxer. KAROLINA LUKASIK shed tears in her dressing room after it was announced that Trinidad and Tobago's Jizelle Salandy had won their junior-middleweight multiple world-title fight by a unanimous points decision on Saturday night at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya. I was suprised that the article said:"Salandy was elated, boasting of setting a world record with her night's haul of belts." [glow=red,2,300]There are few words i can do to describe that..but i don't know which one to say[/glow] Another thing i notice with the site B gave us is that "Curtis Chase" the photographer only had a few fotos which is bad for making a case on who won this fight sorta reminds me of Kentikan vs Zurita with the lack of pictures "plus no video" The Rage of Germany and European boxing will not leave this unanswered..Salandy will end up fighting Karolina or Natascha much sooner now and i believe know Sanders will fight her too but hopefully not in trindad.

Sorry Justin, but if we're going to clean up poor judging and hometown favoritism in women's boxing, let's start in New Mexico with your "dominant" girl Holly Holm.

It's easy to fix the problems in Trinidad: get rid of Boxu Potts!! And sanctioning bodies should STOP working with the guy.

To Justn Tolen: Both the WIBF and the GBU recognize Salandy as Champion, so the answer is no, Lukasik did not get her titles back.
