Gretchen Abaniel fought Cho Rong Son this past Sunday in South Korea, for Son's WBA 105 lb World Title.
Gretchen beat up Cho every round, swelled and cut Cho's eye from punches, and dominated the action.
the referee ruled the cut came from a headbutt, so they went to the scorecards. the 3 judges (all who were from Korea) gave Cho Rong Son the unanimous technical decision after 4 rounds.
Gretchen Abaniel will defend her WIBA Intercontinental Title on April 21st in Puerto Princessa, Philippines against Tukta Sor Ratana.

RYAN well at least in every country at least one or more time you will be robbed..but as a fighter the fighter should be the first one to want a fair fight, with fair results for each other..but as you know some fighters don't give a dang..or a hoot about honor that is why you LIVE AND LEARN AND NEXT TIME KNOCK THAT B***H OUT..LOL |

I don't think anybody really thought she was gonna get a fair decision !
I remember when you were making friends with her manager talking
about how you could book her in these other fights ! And she could
fight for your title !Kind of like what you were doing with Shaffer and
Paul Lee ! But anyway thats the way it goes and Gertchen will always
have you to thank for her first loss ! But what I have heard about Gretchen
she is a strong minded girl and has great skills , I only hope they have learned
from this and learned that some people will leaded them of a cliff to get
a plane ticket and a sanctioning fee !

Hey Ryan was this fight televised?? or was their a online video of this fight, i am going to see if wba posted this fight on their website then but i don't think we cant blame ryan but blame skorea, me, myself I am wondering how in the world did you see this fight Ryan

I guess the little girl made more money than she would working 2 years at a
job in Manila ! I just hate to see the young Filipina star being used as just an opponent !
She is for sure the best little girl out there with a great amateur pedigree and all .But I
guess it don't really matter now ! You can say she got robbed but , some people
say that every time they lose a fight ! At the end of the day ,,SHE LOST HER 1ST FIGHT !
And I hope she can find a sponsor or some backing so she wont turn in to another
Capples or something , a girl that can beat any of em but never fights unless she is an
opponent !
