Did Kara give any reason for her retirement? She's young, undefeated, and holds a belt: Not your usual candidate for early retirement!

Kara Ro emailed me the following, regarding her retirement from boxing:
Hi everyone, I am writing to inform you that I have chosen to vacate my belt and retire from the sport of boxing. "Retire" has been a very difficult word for me to use as I have dedicated approx. 10 yrs of my life to boxing and I am quite aware that many of us return because once exposed to boxing, it is in our blood. I am pursuing a TV career and plan to dedicate the same intensity to learning and perfecting my craft as I did with boxing --I would love to do both but, to be great, you have to give all of yourself to your cause. I want to thank everyone for your unwavering love and support and I wish everyone well in their pursuits. I especially want to encourage everyone to continue their interest in women's boxing as these women work their butts off on a daily basis and incur much more disapproval and disappointment then men. Please stay in touch and hopefully you all will see me soon on a different medium. Love to all, Kara "K.O." Ro PS I would like to thank a few people--first and foremost my family and friends-that includes you too André -who encouraged me despite their disapproval, who watched despite biting their lips and knuckles, who rollerbladed and drove beside me as I ran at 3 and 4 in the morning (Steph and Wattz)--who trained with me at 6 a.m. (Mike) who put up with me when I was dropping weight and experienced permanent PMS (my 100 roommates) -those that traveled far to watch me fight (Mike W) and for my mom and dad not killing me for turning down a scholarship to do an MBA for my boxing pursuits. Your support meant/means so much. I have also been truly blessed to have THE best coaches who taught me sooo much and truly believed in me--The two most influential and the two who experienced the most good and bad with me----Chad Wigle (Windsor) and Javan "Sugar" Hill (Detroit)--thanks you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to --Emanuel Steward, Harley Brown, and Carlos Llinas (who was like a brother-who would tell me that a lot of fighters including heavy weight champions cry the day before the fight). Thank-you to Keith Jackson, Chris Johnson,Tyrone Ivory, Charlie Stewart. And those at Kronk who never hesitated to help me, who daily provided coaching and guidance, who believed in me sometimes more than I believed in myself---the amazing Bamm and Walter Smith and my fellow fighter who, without eachothers support, I don't know how either of us would have made it in tough times--Johnathon Banks. Thank-you to Ryan Wissow -the director of women's boxing (WIBA) who helped me daily never asking for anything in return -just to see women's boxing get more recognition. Thank-you to Sue Fox who does an amazing job keeping the public updated and informed about women's boxing as she continues to promote our sport. I miss all the kids at kronk and pray for you daily. Thanks to my fans who kept up with my career and those --Shawn Westaway, who sent me pictures and memories. I love and thank everyone.
