Instead of niggling about a point or two in the Holm-Hallback fight, maybe the Forum scoring police should look into Susi Kentikian's split decision over Nadia Hockmi which was scored
97-93 Kentikian, 98-92 Kentikian, 93-97 Hockmi
Perhaps some of our European members can tell (or show) us what really happened there, who gave which scores, where they were from?

I thought Kentikian just about edged it. She started the better but really suffered during the middle of the fight, before raising her game again in the final couple of rounds. However, she didn't look as impressive as in previous fights against an opponent who didn't let her settle and who wasn't intimidated by her aggressive style. With a little more accuracy Hockmi could have caused a real upset, especially with her height advantage. Kentikian is young and has plenty of time to improve. I think she has a similar mid-fight lull in her previous fight (agains Alavarez?). In general, however, there's been just a little too much hype surrounding her, and only convincing wins against other top-class opponents will silence the doubts. This isn't meant to sound overly negative; she has an attractively aggressive style, but needs to pace herself better and maybe gain a llttle more stamina.
I'd like to see the fight again, though, as it was late and my eyes were closing fast, so a second opinion would be good to have!

Don't worry. I taped this fight and video will be uploaded soon. Right now i need my bandwitch for something else.
p.s.
Should i this time use winrar instead HJsplit for splitting files? I hope, that you understand, that splitting is necessarily, because my files are big and rapidshare allows only 100 mb per file. And i'm rapidshare premium user and that means, that files won't die so fast, like if i would upload them on some another file sharing service.

Haha..yes...he woke me up very early. Ok ...the judges.....
Morata 98-92 Kentikian (Spain) Meyers 97-93 Hockmi (Netherlands, but I bribed him;) The third one I forgot.....but he had a 97-93...the best score of the worst. But a slight edge to Kentikian is possible too. Close enough.

Thanks everyone! Torben also sent his report to WBAN: (MAY 26) Susianna Kentikian has repeatedly asked for better and stronger opponents over the last months. Last night she got what she was asking for in Nadia Hockmi. The two produced, by far, the best and most entertaining fight at the ProSieben Fight Night. The first three rounds were clearly won by Kentikian. Hockmi came out in her usual aggressive style throwing plenty of punches, but very few connected thanks to Kentikian's speed and fabulous reflexes. Kentikian countered well, and got through with some telling hooks on the French woman. This didn't deter Hockmi, who kept coming forward and the following rounds of this action packed fight were more even, and Hockmi probably had a slight advantage in rounds 5 to 7. Kentikian showed her determination to hang onto her belt in the last 3 rounds when she regained the upper hand. Most of round 10 was fought toe to toe, and a fitting finale of this intense and high paced fight. The judges scored the fight 97-93, 93-97 and 98-92 in favour of Kentikian. It was no doubt the toughest fight for the young Armenian born boxer, who thanked her opponent for a great fight in the post fight interview, and told the interviewer that it was also a reminder to herself to keep working hard developing her boxing skills. www.womenboxing.com/NEWS2007/news052607kentikian.htm

Exactly Dee. I presumed, that this fight will end like this. Nadia haven't some impressive box record, but she is very experienced fighter. After all, she is 10 years professional fighter. This is proof, that Suzi isn't champion material yet. Maybe after 2 years. But not now. Although....she is very young. Time is on her side. Fight is uploaded here: womensboxing.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=tv&action=display&thread=1180220845Anyway...tomorow i will (i hope) upload Ragosina - Stone fight. cheers.....voayer
