Maybe I've had too much wine tonight, but I don't understand why the ref stopped the fight when he did (9th round). Was there some blood I didn't see? I was watching on television but as I don't understand German maybe I missed something. What I saw was that Kentikian was winning on points but that Alvarez did some good work in the 8th, confusing the German...and soon after the stoppage...

I'll take these first impressions back if someone more sober comes along to put me right!

i was sober and i also don't know why fight was stopped. German commentator said, that because referee want to protect fighter's healt. Well...i don't know. Carolina wasn't in some serious danger....i guess. Anyway.....upload comming.
