I just watched a few on Ina's fights- OHMAGAWD, this lady may be the best female boxer ever!
Balance, techique, power, focus and physique...all 9.99s. She knocks opponents down with a JAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marcel, you have to bring this lady to America. She deserves a WORLD STAGE, seriously.
I used to say Lucia was the best female fighter of all time...but...as Menzer gains more experience she has the potential to be the best female fighter of all time.

There is one problem Ina has imho: Heart. For the rest she is good, but I prefer Graf because of the difference in heart. I want to see Ina get tested first.

As far of knocking people down with a jab: the "better" fighters she fought she didn't stop. BUT she has a lot of potential. It's about time to step up now so we will see soon. I want to match her against Schouten so we will see if she is willing.

Yeah TD, go read her bio and see how many 0-5 or 1-6 girls she's fought. She's got potential, but don't jinx her

Marcel, Its hard to say that an unbeaten fighter does NOT have heart. Did she quite throwing against someone? Really and truely, who comes close to her? The only thing I notice about her, is can KNOCK OUT anybody she has fought, yet she hasn't. So maybe she plays it safe. In terms of technique, I'd put MENZER about a notch and half above Graf. So lets hope she's not another Regina Halmich, comes to the USA, gets pounded and then runs home to Deutchsland for set ups the rest of career while thinking she's something. Like I said, tell me the name of fighter with better balance and footwork than Menzer, besides Lucia Super-Duker Rijker? Honestly. Did Menzer FENCE? She looks like she has that kind of balance, which I think is ideal training. TD

Yeah TD, go read her bio and see how many 0-5 or 1-6 girls she's fought. She's got potential, but don't jinx her I'm not talking about her opponent quality, she's just the best dam female fighter since Rijker. She totally ROCKS! And always SOCKS! And wipes out da JOCKS! Seriously, as prospects go or up and comers or young champs- INA MENZER HAS IT ALL. I'd love to hear Manny Steward review her or Teddy Atlas ( marcel's pal). TD

Wait till you see Kentikian. Talk about relentless! Marcel, Kentikian is a lion. She has what Lucia had before Lucia was KO'd by a Jaidee. Very impressive for a 105 pounder to be putting 80% of her opponents on the canvas. And THAT may be the difference between Menzer and kentikian. But I consider heart to be when a Menzer or a Kentikian RUNS INTO a Menzer or Kentikian, gets dropped and then decides they have to GET BACK into the fight by KO'ing their opponent. An old trainer I know used to say, Knockouts start to happen at the weigh in. He meant somebody knew they owned somebody when they looked at each other at the weigh in. From there it was a matter of time and punches before the outcome was official. Kentikian looks like a lion...afraid of nothing, eating everything it sees and never doubting for a minute what the outcome will be. Fierce will. Menzer has the same thing...but a surgeons approach. She looks for an opening while she is very aware of counter shots. But I don't see a nacho of fear in her. Just precision. I agree. She needs a test. And if she is truely great, she wants the test MORE than you do. She wants to know who the lion is out there IF its not here. You gotta bring an all star European team to the USA for a Throw Down Challenge. TD

Well, I know there is fear....from making fights. Some people worry too much about opponents. She has all the tools, but I am not sold until she is tested. Kentikian and Graf don't care if they have to fight Klitschko tomorrow. I like that. Although Menzer is more polished and improves faster.

I rate Ina the European female fighter of 2005 last December. I am glad that others are discovering her. Len, You are right on with your pick of Menzer. On technique and strength I would rate her number one in her weight class. j She needs some USA exposure. ESPN boys would go nuts over talent like that. Now if only Marcel could get it together and match her with someone in America. TD

That chance is about as big as Regina fighting in the US. Unless she starts losing.

Marcel,
Look at this pile up of talent:
1. Laura Serrano (MX) 16-2-2 (6 KO) 1656 10172 2 Melissa Fiorentino (US-RI) 13-1-0 (6 KO) 371 1973 3 Sharon Anyos (AU) 11-3-0 (2 KO) 626 1655 4 Ina Menzer (GE) 13-0-0 (7 KO) 105 1486 5 Silke Weickenmeier (GE) 18-6-3 (1 KO) 31 1351 <<<<dees delight...but totally stupid>>> 6 Trisha Hill (US-GA) 8-5-1 (4 KO) 870 1340
Marcel, doesn't INA want to find out where she ranks on the world stage?
Her VS. Any of the fighters above her would be a tremendous show!
Any of the TOP 4 fighting any other TOP 4 would be world class action.
So your thinking that Menzer is gonna stay home her entire career...?
By the way, Kentikian is not ranked in Dee's "rating" system...why not?

She fought Weickenmeier already and it wasn't anything fantastic omho. Fiorentino and Anyos I would gladly invite to come over. If Ina wants to fight them that is. Hill would be ok...her suspension should be over by now.

Marcel,
Fiorentino or Anyos VS Menzer would be world class fights...worthy of ESPN's world wide audience.
Silke was KO'd by Tricia so if Ina had trouble with Silke, that would NOT be good.
So basically your saying that her career is destined to follow Halmich's set up, stay at home, stack the deck, pay the judges kinda deal where she is safe?
Man if that's her attitude, she might as well quite because Halmich is a disgrace to the sport.

She didn't have problems with Silke... And what you seem to forget , when it doesn't concern Rijker, is that money talks. For Rijker you used that excuse many times. But other girls are not entitled to do the same. Let me tell you this: Halmich's level of competition is maaaaaaaaaaaany times better than Rijkers. But that's beside the point. Promoters decide. And you would be stupid as a fighter to go against that. Marischa fought everybody they put in fron of her...what did it bring? Jack-nuts. Only a good feeling for yourself. But you get thrown back tremendously when it comes to having a "regular" life. So I can't blame them..although I would like to see more pride in fighters...like ie Rijker.
World wide ESPN audience? We don't even get it (ESPN2) in Europe. And Eurosport doesn't pay promoters. So better stay with ZDF.

Marcel,
Almost every boxing match Lucia has had has been OUTSIDE her country. I don't fault any fighter for making money in the ring, I applaud it. But for Halmich, it isn't a money issue, its the rigged outcomes that is the issue. Lucia never coasted on that.
You get down on Rijker? Shame on you. She's paid her dues, hasn't lost a round and deserves much more than she's got.
Isn't that the same logic you would present to Menzer? Pay your dues, make a name, fight around the world, fight in the states? NO you say...well then have fun making matchs for her. And show some dam respect for the greatest lady fighter ever.

Tom with all respect....it would be much nicer to debate with you if you would actually read and try to understand what the other party says. I often feel like I jotted down things for nothing. Read again please. OK, yes or no... Does Marcel respect Halmich and think she is a great fighter? Does Marcel respect Rijker and think she is a great, if not the greatest female fighter of all time? Does Marcel want to see Menzer fight in the USA? Does Marcel want fighters to gain the largest purse they can in the ring irregardless who they fight? Does Marcel want fighters to take challenges above them in ranking....OR.... should the fighter always try to make the most money? My position...its prize fighting...fight for money...then for glory...make more money and more glory by fighting the best. Are we closer to being on the same page, be it an arguement page.... Tom

Yes to the first part, no to the last part
Yes
No
Yes to the first part
You should phrase them differently. I am a boxing fan. Do I understand people not fighting the best and letting promoters call the shots? YES. Do I like that? NO. Simple as that.
