Why is Kara Ro, 13-0 and a title holder fighting Kim Colbert with a record of 2-9? Regardless that Ro is returning after a short retirement, a more challenging opponent was needed.

Colbert is a far better fighter then her record indicates. i think she was an ideal opponant for Ro after her layoff. RYAN

Ro retired and hadn't fouight for over a year. This was a restart test that hopefully will result in a Ro vs Mrdjenovich title bout.

Ro retired and hadn't fouight for over a year. This was a restart test that hopefully will result in a Ro vs Mrdjenovich title bout. Mrdjenovich fights only in Edmonton. Ro's last seven fights have been in Detroit. They both rely on hometown judging. A Ro vs. Mrdjenovich contest? Where? Who blinks first? Won't happen.

Both are Canadians. A neutral site (Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto?) may be agreed upon. This is as close as I'll ever get to being a promoter, but I think the fight could be made.
