Ok, the floor is open, who makes a great fight for Stacey Stay Lo ( louise) Reille?
As a lot of backporch matchmakers have said;
- Baby Doll at a catch of say 120 pounds plus 2 or minus 2 pounds
- Hurricane Hernandez at a catch of say 126 plus 3 or minus 2 pounds
Insight for Stay Lo...if Menzer's matchmaker calls...tell him its "sunday" and you can't talk to him right now. LOL.
Aside, IMO, the fight with Laykesha was an early stoppage. I think Laykesha would say that.

Now I don't think Elena vs Stacy would be good, thatsorta an ify type fight I would not even think of Lakeysha..very bad idea... Hernadez i don't know maybe.. Cindy Serrano that might be interesting...

She's at a point in her boxing career where her fight choices can show whether she is more interested in preserving her unbeaten record or in getting herself a real fighter's reputation. Her WBAN opponent strength rating is the lowest among ranked featherweights (or junior featherweights), but she's got good ring presence so IMO it's time for her to show how she handles herself against more dangerous opposition. If she wants to "go for it all" and take some BIG risks, she'd try to get a fight with Jeannine Garside, or go to Germany to fight Ina Menzer. Jeri Sitzes, Sandy Tsagouris or Brooke Dierdorff would be "step-up" matches where she has a good chance to improve her record against quality opposition. Tsagouris is probably the next least tested of the ranked featherweight group, and she is 7-0 so you can have an "unbeaten" rep at risk in that matchup. But Sandy fights a little heavier than Reile, who's been coming in around 123, just a notch above the junior featherweight limit of 122. She could also play the game of taking on good fighters who are a little smaller, in the 122-lb group. Lisa Brown or Kelsey Jeffries would be tough step-up matches, impressive wins if she could get them. If she wants to really roll the dice and try to make a huge name for herself in a hurry at junior featherweight she'd need to go to Mexico to fight Jackie Nava or to Argentina to fight Marcela Acuna or Alejandra Oliveras. It all depends on the level of risk she's up for with that 8-0 unbeaten record, and whether she wants to take on the slightly bigger opponents at featherweight or really move down to junior feather and try to fish in a slightly smaller pond (but with some very good potential opponents). Jeannine Garside and Melissa Hernandez both "went for it all" early in their pro careers, and were rewarded for their risk-taking. That's the kind of break-in boxer that gets you cheering about their moxie in taking fights, but they both came into the pros with good amateur backgrounds, which I think is VERY important. I think Stacey had only one actual amateur bout (she won a Florida Golden Gloves title by walkover, so she has two amateur fights on paper) so she's doing her learning in the pro ring and may need to go a tad slower for that reason. Safest RANKED bet for her from Justin's actual list would be Jackie Chavez, if Jackie's still interested in fighting (she might not be, after two disappointing shows at home - against Lisa Brown and Ada Velez). In women's boxing, some wanna LOOK good as long as possible, some wanna BE good as soon as possible. Which way will "Stay-Lo" go? Stay tuned

As a lot of backporch matchmakers have said;
- Baby Doll at a catch of say 120 pounds plus 2 or minus 2 pounds
==Baby Doll is way too small for Stacey==
- Hurricane Hernandez at a catch of say 126 plus 3 or minus 2 pounds
==Stacey is interested in fighting Hernandez for a title==
Insight for Stay Lo...if Menzer's matchmaker calls...tell him its "sunday" and you can't talk to him right now. LOL.
==Stacey wants to fight Menzer too== Since Stacy lo is a super bantam weight I think she should fight these people: Kasha Chamblin
==Stacey has wanted to fight Kasha for a while now==
Alicia Ashley??
==no southpaws unless its big money or a world title. besides, i want to have Ashley fight for the WIBA world title at 118==
Jackie Chavez
==Stacey wants to fight Chavez, maybe in her next fight if she's available==
Ana Jualton??
==Ana's people contacted Stacey about a fight, but we havent heard back from then after Ana's tough fight with Carly Batey==
Vanessa Juarez
==i think Juarez is too light, she is really a 118 lber==
Brooke D??
==Stacey has beef with Brooke from an incident on myspace. i would love to see this fight but Stacey will only fight Brooke for big bucks because she doesnt want to give Brooke an opportunity==
What do you think??
Cindy Serrano that might be interesting...
==i actually suggested a Reile-Serrano matchup to Cedric Kushner when i was in New York for the Olszewski-Reid fight this week.==
==Stacey wants to fight for the WIBA World Title at 122 pounds, against Lisa Brown or Kelsey Jeffries. i hope to find a promoter willing to make this match== RYAN

Well, Melissa told me on myspace that Stacey doesn't want to fight her. I suggested to Melissa that Stacey would be a good fight. Brooke would really be a great fight for Stacey; with all due respect to Stacey, Alicia Ashley would beat her pretty soundly.

Melissa went up to 130/132 lbs to fight Layla McCarter and Chevelle Hallback. McCarter is WBAN #3 ranked lightweight on 2008-Mar-01 Hallback is WBAN #1 ranked jr lightweight on 2008-Mar-01

If you look at who Mel has fought, you have to say, SHE IS NOT AFRAID OF ANYONE and even more so, SHE'S A WINNER, SOON TO BE CHAMPION. I can't figure Stay Lo out...you read her interviews and think, DANG, THIS LADY IS THE FUTURE OF WOMEN'S BOXING...then go look at her opponent rating on Dee's division ratings and it looks like STAY LO likes "cupcakes" AND only "cupcakes". It was time for Stay Lo to step up, now she needs another BUS! Right now, I would make Melissa a 5 to 1 favorite. TD

{I can't figure Stay Lo out...} Ha ha, to funny. That is the only thing you have said in the post that is true. You are not suppose to figure her out, that is how she wants it, she keeps everyone guessing what her next move will be. Believe you me..... Stay Lo has got her stuff together, and the last person she is worried about is Hernandez defeating her. Melissa 5 to 1 you gotta be kidding me!!!

My point; Stacy needs to WALK THE TALK, that seems real hard for her to do... If she says "other fighters are dodging her", you would think SHE would not want to be a "dodger" herself, right? That's what is inconsistent and "un-figurable"...and NOT attractive. Why wouldn't she fight Mel? Mel has taken on MUCH tougher fighters than Stacy so Mel WALKS HER TALK. Look at Stacy's opponent rating in DEE's latest ratings...she has a rating around 80...maybe 3 to 4 other ranked fighters in ALL of the divisions have an OPPONENT RATING in that LOWLY neighborhood...so right now, all I hear is TALK. Sorry that's the way I see. She had so much potential and energy and spirit. Really, its a loss of potential for the sport...cuz any smart promoter can utilize a BABE that can WALK THE TALK and make any card a better card. TD

Raitings don't mount to a hill of beans! I haven't fought in 2 or 3 years and look where I am ranked, and look at the opponets I have fought and their rankings too. People are not going to come out and say "Oh yeah, I do not want to fight Stay-Lo, because I am scared of loosing" They are too proud and they want to look tough in front of all their friends and fans. If I am running scared I will tell you, but Hernandez on the other hand is too prideful to say she really does not want to fight Stay-Lo.

Look, opponent ratings are a general look at the quality of opposition a fighter has fought. Or as Teddy Atlas likes to say, "she hasn't really fought anybody", meaning her list of opponents is not that great. If Teddy did I would say he would Rank MEL'S opponents as MUCH TOUGHER than STAY LO's. Like I said, she can talk the talk but can she walk it? I used to think so. NOT anymore. IMO. BUT LETS HEAR FROM MEL ON THIS...THAT WOULD BE INTERESTING! TD

Ranked fighters fought by Hernandez:
Chevelle Hallback - three world titles Layla McCarter (twice) - four world titles, Lisa Brown, - 3 world titles Kelsey Jeffries - 3 world titles
Ranked fighters fought by Reile:
Lakeysha Wiliams - NO world titles, ranked #7 at jr light, one world title fight (2002).

Tachany...here is a lady that walks WITHOUT any talk-Eileen Olszewski (5-0-1) she's got the 4 Fs ( fire form focus physique).
Stacy is lacking FORM and FIRE so that may be the reason she is doing alot of talking and not much fighting. She is in great shape and she really can bear down and follow thru on her plan... which puts her in position to improve and make a mark in the sport. I hope she does because she has MORE color that 10 fighters, and fans love that. The gravitate to it. To a point.
So get her in the ring. Its the best thing for her. And get her to step up, so she really has to work and dig down deep for a win. Those things make the "steel" stronger. She's lucky to have a never-say-die supporter such as yourself. Take a bow for deep loyalty.

I'll put it to you like this, Tachany old buddy, when it comes to you saying that Melissa Hernandez is ducking or doesn't want to fight Stacey Reile. Over on another message board, I was talking about Oscar de la Hoya. Someone, a die hard Kostya Tzysu fan, said that Oscar ducked Kostya. And my response was, to fight who? Shane Mosley? Bernard Hopkins? Autoro Gatti? Fernando Vargas? Floyd Mayweather? Felix Trinidad?
None of those names are on Kostya Tzysu's resume. NONE of them. But this fan's claim is that Oscar was afraid to fight Kostya, who stayed in the same 140 lb weight class and did not move up or down looking for better opposition. While Oscar has fought almost everybody between 147 and 160 who is anybody. This is a similiar circumstance. You've got Melissa Hernandez... let me steal this from Dee. Mel fought:
Chevelle Hallback - three world titles Layla McCarter (twice) - four world titles, Lisa Brown, - 3 world titles Kelsey Jeffries - 3 world titles
And then you've got Stay Lo. Well, none of those names are on her resume. I don't think Melissa Hernandez, who is trained by Belinda "I'll Fight Anybody" Laracuente and Ada Velez is afraid of Stay Lo. I'm willing to bet that Melissa Hernandez would fight Mary Jo Sanders if the fight was offered and there were agreeable terms. Stay Lo is not this weight class area's version of Vicious Veronica Simmons or Sumya Anani.

I will fight her.. I don't back down from anyone.. I don't have a padded record like some girls in the fight game.. Every great fighter has fought the best and risk the loss on their record because you can't be the best without fighting and beating the best.. Very few great fighters of all time retired without at least one loss.. I'm what you call an old school fighter and will fight anyone if its right.. Brooke Dierdorff

Stay Lo has alot to overcome in this fight; 1. Menzer is the TOP of the talent chart...always ready to throw perfect punches, always balanced and she has a good defense. 2. Its in Germany. No way Stay Lo wins without knocking Menzer out. 3. Arm punches or poor technique punches won't even bother Menzer, Stay Lo needs to develop some POP. It will be interesting to see if Stay Lo's movement can open Menzer up AND/IF she does OPEN Menzer, can she get a nice BANG on her. Stay Lo is a mover so she really has to deal with a straight ahead, up right banger. I haven't seen Menzer throw a good hook but she has a dam nice jab and the freight train is always behind the jab. Lucia had the way to defeat a straight right...she slip down, to her left and forward to throw a wicked hook as the right hand of the opponent went past the spot Lucia was. Stay Lo has good balance but her feet are not as fast as Lucia's. TD "STAY LO'N'GO"- new chant of the New Stay Lo fan club!

Let me weigh in on this as well.
Apparently, Stay Lo does not like me telling her the truth about the facts of life when fighting in Germany, but, hopefully, one of you can confirm to her what I tried to tell her over at MySpace, when she thought I was trying to "Jinx" her and then took me out of her friends pool, again, when I told her to be aware of what the d**n German promoter will try to pull on her, if she gives Menzer a resounding beating, if that were possible.
If she knocks Menzer out or beats her within an inch of her life, she may get the decision, but the German promoter will do their do dilligence to try to disqualify Stay Lo, by coming up with some bogus drug test they'll claim she failed, as they did when Trish 'TNT' Hill beat the crap out of Silke Weickenmeier some years back, when she broke her nose and forced Weickenmeier to quit on her stool before or after the 7th round.
They can and will try to pull this crap on Stay Lo as well, if she manages to kick the crap out of Menzer, but I can't tell Stay Lo that, because she thinks it's BS on my part!
Can one of you enlighten Stay Lo on what could happen in Germany?
Thanks for your time and effort.
