hello everybody,
i have an idea that i want to discuss.
i would like to put together a 4-woman elimination between the 4 major title holders at 108 pounds, to determine an undisputed champion.
the line-up would be like this
semi-finals:
Julia Sahin (WIBF champ)
verses
Samson Sor Siriporn (WBC champ)
Germany, in June or July.
and
Juhee Kim (WBA champ)
verses
winner of Dunaway-Zurita (WIBA champ)
South Korea or Texas, in August or September.
(South Korea if Dunaway wins WIBA title, Texas if Zurita wins WIBA title)
final:
Sahin - Sor Siriporn winner (WIBF & WBC champ)
verses
Kim - Dunaway/Zurita winner (WIBA & WBA champ)
November or December.
this final can take place wherever they offer the girls the most purse money.
the winner would be undisputed champion
i expect Sahin to fight Sor Siriporn sometime soon, because on paper this is an easy win for Sahin, who is the #1 108 lber in the world right now.
Juhee Kim's manager wants Kim to fight for the WIBA title, and are willing to do it in South Korea.
Juhee defends her WBA title in June, and hopefully she could do the unification bout by August.
there is a casino in South Texas that is promoting Maribel Zurita, she fights there on Feb 22nd, and if all goes well she will fight for the WIBA World Title in April or May against Hollie Dunaway.
instead of champion avoiding other champions in many divisions, i think this proposed tournament would be good for the sport.
we can very easily make this thing happen.
so, what do you guys think?
?
RYAN
