IF you are contemplating a fight in New Mexico---THINK AGAIN.
Cecilia Braekhus can only win by KO in New Mexico...Holm has shown she can run away from anyone and get a WIN doing so.
Further, typical New Mexico casino draw is small compared to a fight in Vegas...even if its a co-feature or one down from the marque fight.
I would post your terms, fair terms for both fighters, on WBAN...some things I would consider FAIR:
- both camps agree to an international selection of judges AND the ref.
- both camps receive equal pay for the fight, equal pay for broadcast rights and equal pay for residuals of any fight material ( DVD, t-shirts etc)
- both camps agree to same terms for a rematch in Europe
- both camps agree to appear on Jay Leno 2 weeks before the fight to for a unofficial weigh in/ discussion of the fight...Cecilia Braekhus BoomaYeah...
- finally both camps agree that any fighter NOT fighting should be DQ'd and scorned by all who love this sport.

Note to Dee-- did you see Mathis Holm #2? The King of Uppercuts would not be able to land or even attempt one while in THAT embrace/lock/hold...it was a joke and 101% DQ'able, IMO.

Note to Dee-- did you see Mathis Holm #2? Of course. Did you? The King of Uppercuts would not be able to land or even attempt one while in THAT embrace/lock/hold...it was a joke and 101% DQ'able, IMO. It's all about timing the opponent coming in. That was my point, of course: I thought that by the umpty-how-many'th time Holm dove to her right to grab Mathis like a clam, that Mathis should have tried to time an uppercut to take Holm's head off as she came in ... but the Mathis team never figured out how to counter Holm's move even though it was repeated over and over. Also of course - you can't use it AFTER you've been tied up. It's too late then. "101%?" I hope you're not required to count as part of your job, Tom De Napoli.
