I like Hallback she is a good fighter but you need a whole lot more than motivation to beat Cecilia B. I hope Chevelle beats Cecilia but Cecilia is no pushover. I hate to say this but I believe Cecilia might win this fight, with a TKO or by Ko. I wonder if Jill is still working Cecilia? Chevelle has one thing going for her and that is experience, I can only hope that her team pulls it out big on this fight, their fight with Victoria Cisneros didn't work out so well, even though she won clearly, she still had some trouble. Fatigue some say it is but I hope it is not, I hope it was just a little episode that will never happen again but if it does Chevelle could end up on the canvas.

Jason, according to the highly-unscientific, highly opinionated, un-computerized "Bykerk Rankings" which have Cecilia Braekhus ranked in the top spot as the #1 women's welterweight boxer in the entire known universe, the answer is yes, Cecilia will win on Saturday. The Bykerk Rankings for Welterweights - top 3 1.Cecilia Braekhus 2. Sophie Mathis 3. Holly Holm Hey Todd --- go for it! Are you going to put your rankings up regularly? Just one small point - Holly Holm has come down to "Junior Welterweight", but maybe the Bykerk rankings won't have Junior classes? ;D The WBAN computer rates Mathis above Braekhus, but I think we all want to see them fight to sort that out!

I would throw a brick at Cecilia but can destroy me, so I think I will throw one at you instead ;D I hope Chevelle runs Cecilia over just to spite you lol. I dont like Cecilia, some how i feel like she is looking down on fighters. I wonder will she ever take on Balogun but for right know, Chevelle please beat Cecilia or get a draw? Sophie Mathis is suppose to be fighting someone in June, but who is it, i have no clue?

I dont like Cecilia, some how i feel like she is looking down on fighters. She is very respectful of Chevelle in her post fight comments at www.aftenbladet.no/sport/1373756/Braekhus_slet_men_hadde_kontroll.htmlSays she is a "tough lady who hit harder than she imagined and kept coming" Chevelle (39) is 5′ 6½" previously fought at lightweight or junior welterweight (where she fought Holm) while Cecilia (29) is a 5′ 7½″ who's been fighting at full welterweight for several years now. This was Chevelle's first try as a full welterweight and she weighed in at 142¼ lbs (though her walking around weight is around 147 lbs).

I've never sensed that Cecilia is arrogant or acts in a haughty manner. If she did act like an ass, I doubt Jill Emery and her coach would have expressed an interest in helping Cecilia to prepare for an eventual match-up with Holm. When you watch the video of Cecilia meeting Chevelle that I posted in this thread, Cecilia comes off as being extremely friendly and personable. And from what I've gleaned during the last year or so, Cecilia is very respectful of Holm and truly apprecaites all that Holm has accomplished. But she also very much wants her chance to meet Holly in the ring. That doesn't make Braekhus conceited, but rather a genuine competitor worthy of any boxing fan's admiration and respect. But if Holm continues to evade Braekhus and Mathis, I think I'll have to start referring to Holly as Holly "Mayweather" Holm.

Well I can admit when I am wrong, and I am wrong but I knew Chevelle wouldn't win against Cecilia. I don't know when the fight was set or Chevelle was told but Jills fight was in April and Chevelle was in May however even though Chevelle was active, when going up against a champion i think you need at least 2 month to prepare or more especially to get good results. I still stick with my comment that Cecilia needs to take on Jessica Balogun, Cecilia fought most of her fights in Germany and both are undefeated. Cecilia and her team look like their going to fight Danielle Smith next

Thought I would add this last little tidbit to the thread, taken from Lionheart-boxing.dk Braekhus has plans to enjoy a summer holiday, and will fight Daniella Smith in August/September. The site also says that nothing has changed for Braekhus, her "dream fight" is still with Holly Holm. It also reports that Hallback told VG Nett, when asked about Braekhus vs. Holm, "They are at approx. the same level. It would be a good fight." No mention is made of Hallback predicting the winner, maybe that will come later. Jason, Dee - thanx for your posts...
