Ina has been fighting regularly, and is so, so sharp. Let Kelsey take a warm-up fight first, and rematch Ina with L'il Tyson!

Kelsey Jefferies shouldn't fight Ina Menzer and neither Lil Tyson in my opinion because neither have been fighting regularly However I believe that Ina's punches have become sharper because of Lil TYson and their match together. Ina got beaten bloody and I don't think her nor her team want to be suprised that badly ever again.. I would love to see Lil tyson have a match against Esther Schouten or Jennifer Barber then the winner of that fight should fight ina menzer

it looks like Lisa Brown will defend her WIBA title against Kelsey Jeffries on August 7th in Green Bay, Wisconsin ... would be terrific - even better than a bout against Ina Menzer! I think the match Kelsey jeffries vs Lisa Brown is better suited because of ring dust however I am glad that Kelsey isn't going against Ina at the moment because if she did I believe she would have a high chance of lossing and it not being a good match. Ina vs Franchesca was said to be a horrible fight and in my opinon the resond for the lacking fight was because of the challenger. Franchesca is probably a nice person but she hasn't boxed in a ring in a while let alone won...a match...............Even though she may have tried her best she an Ina are on too very different levels of skill.

Regardless of who Kelsie Jeffries fights, she will clean their clock. When I first heard of a match between Kelsie and Lisa Brown, I was thinking to myself, "Lisa better think twice about this fight. Kelsie isn't Jeri Sitzes and speaking of Sitzes, she really beat Brown but got robbed of the decision as well as robbed of the decision between her and Ela 'Bam Bam' Nunez.
Sitzes even gave Kelsie a good fight!
I would also love to see a fight between Kelsie and Ina Menzer.

It sounds like the German news got a little ahead of the developing story in May, as Bruce would have known if the contract had been signed back then.

... so the German newspapers where right in May ... maybe it looks like it right now but I the contract could end up getting cancelled remember just recently when we though Ragosina was going to fighting Robinsion but end up going against Ramsey. However I really don't like any fighter who has been gone or AWOL to come back and fight another fighter for a title

I received the following from Bruce Anderson YESTERDAY
Dee,
In all due respect to Mr Ozuma , Kelsey Jeffries Is NOT fighting Ina Menzer, nor anyone else on August 22, 2009. In addition, no contract has been signed for any fight in the immediate future. I would suggest that those interested in obtaining accurate information regarding Kelsey's schedule at any particular time, may find it on her web site at : kel-c.com or they are welcome to contact me.

Bruce Anderson Mgr. of Kelsey Jeffries don't have to call me mr. I looked on boxrec.com under Ina Menzer and thats what they said, now do i believe it of course not, i don't know who Ina is fighting but the only name listed is Kelsey. Bernie had already told me that Kelsey wasn't fighting Ina. Universum or boxrec are the two culprits now do i know why they are doing this of course not. Universum probably needs publicity because of them losing their tv contract next year. Boxrec isn't very accurate but when it comes to tell me who won or loss on record there good at that.

Upcoming fight arrangements are the least reliable of all boxing information until they have been confirmed by ALL sides. There can be many reasons for a premature release of fight matchmaking "info" by one side, it's very annoying but it's not as rare as we might all want it to be.
Somebody "jumped the gun" about this in May and seems to be continuing, for whatever reason. Sometimes promoters leak fight possibilities to the media to start getting publicity and build interest in a card. You can't be sure a fight has been made until you hear it from both sides that a contract has been signed ... and even then there can still be second thoughts, real or imaginary "training injuries" or illnesses, or whatever ...
You don't really know a fight's gonna happen until both fighters have weighed in and passed the medical tests ... and some veteran boxing people will say you can't be totally sure until both fighters have walked to the ring!
Also realize that Boxrec works a bit like Wikipedia, it's not an "official" site, lots of different people from different parts of the world are registered to post there - but only the registered editors can see who posted what and so judge whether it's reliable. I am told they have had to throw a few people off for posting disinformation over the years. Generally boxrec does a very good job and it's a great resource for the sport but realize that not EVERYTHING posted there is correct, even though MOST of it is (especially well AFTER fights have occurred and official sanctioned records are available).
I have seen fight results posted there that I know were initially incorrect, even about who won, a few fights that never happened have been posted there (unscrupulous posters padding records for someone from their region - they usually get removed eventually), and fights that definitely DID happen sometimes do not get posted there ... or only much later than the fight took place. On WBAN we always look for independent confirmation for EVERYTHING about women's boxing that's on boxrec until we see official records or fight videos for ourselves, and we know WE get given wrong information ourselves at times and we have to correct it later.
So don't take any one boxing web source as infallible - that's strictly for Popes.

Dee I am not going to get into a stupid argument but i am going to say this there have been many female boxing matches i missed and didn't even know that happen Many sites don't even cover the fight I mentioned things on this site even if i am incorrect to find out stuff Just this week Tiffany Junot fought Kimberly Connor, i don't know who won or if they fought but i mention it to find out. I may say half crap things but i atleast try to mention things like Octavius James the guy who was Mary Mcgee( female boxer) promoterr died but it wasn't even mentioned most places. Boxrec is my favorite source and easiest... I don't like the easiest things and I know I don't want to be looking for a site all the time, recomend one if you don't want me to use boxrec.com. There are people on this site that don't even contribute or say anything.

I am not saying people should not read boxrec, it's a good site and MOST of what is posted there is good info. Just don't believe that EVERYTHING posted there is true, it still needs to be verified with other sources especially info about upcoming fights. Same goes for WBAN, too.
