message on Universum homepage: 2010-04-24 Kentikian vs Raoui at flyweight You beat me to the punch, i was just going to talk about this. Nadia is a good boxer but she hasn't been test like Kentikan has. As much as I would love to see Nadia win, there are too many factors dictating that she will just be another head on Universum and Susi K's wall of shame. Nadia's biggest challenger was the hawaiian mongoose which was controversial. Some say nadia won, other say Eileen won but i don't know. I think Marianna Juarez would have been a better idea. I guess we will see in April 24, who was right.

I've never seen Raoui box so can't comment on her ability. I do notice that she only has three stoppages under her belt, and those against more than average opponents, so you could assume she doesn't have the raw power to upset Susi...Susi, however, since her defeat of Mary Ortega, has gone five bouts without a KO to her name; why this is so could be due to a better class of opponent (Sahin and Hager Finer, for example, are no mugs), or those opponents starting to find her out, or Susi herself not really progressing quality-wise, though at the same time it could be said that she's been learning to pace herself through longer fights and not take unnecessary risks.
So before I end up contradicting myself again and again I'll predict another ten round points victory for Kentikian, not that this prediction is exactly a hard one to make!

Here are two assets I know that Nadia has is agressive fighting, most of the time corners her opponent and has some power. I believe she can give Susi K a run but not a long run. In reality Nadia could beat susi k it depends on her skill, will to win and talent. Howeverr I do predict susi k will win. It would be nice if nadia won but highly unlikely.

If she stands up to Susi, she will be fighting Susi's fight. But that could be a good thing for Nadia if....she has some power.

I hope it is a great fight between Kentikian and Raoui, but I'm really rooting for Raoui to stick her jab into Kentikian all night and give her a good whuppin', but I suspect that Universum has already paid Raoui handsomely to not try so hard, allowing Kentikian to get the decision.
Of well, I guess we'll know in a few hours from now.

I've just watched the fight on youtube and I reckon that Raoui won by about three rounds. Her punches landed better and Kentikian never looked like getting her opponent in trouble. Now, if this was a set-up, then my question is why? Raoui is German too, good-looking: you'd think she'd be good box office too. And if the fight was indeed scored fairly and in all good conscience, we're left with a couple of scorers (not sure if the referee was one of them) who know less than my grandmother about boxing.

Both are based in Germany now, both were immigrants there. Kentikian is from Armenia, Raoui is from Morocco.
