I decided to revive this section in the forum because when it comes to making awesome and spectacular fights ideas this forum and its members are the best and i saw some fights in the matchmaker hotlist that I thought would be some good conversation starters as well. Also i hope everyone had a Good Fourth of July. Also lets everyone think of some amazing matches that you wish can happen in 2008 and explain why this fight would be good.

First fight i think should happen is Amy Yuratovac vs Mary Mcgee. Amy has fought against both Mia and Christy the old pros and the weight that broke the camels back is when a friend of mine emailed me this video of Mary Mcgee:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqRDcDsySdU you can check it out your self. Also I notice some one had said maybe Mary should fight Melissa Hernadez and I disagree because that would be a horrible mismatch, even if well deserved or not.

I will start with Elena Reid...a match that I would like to see besides her versus Cooper would be her in a rematch against Alicia Ashley. Ava knight really is a new rising star her and maybe Johna Mendez, maybe because after her match with Jualton, she really proved to be tougher than most of Jualtons opponents.

Jeri Sitzes vs Alicia Ashley- These two have kickboxed a few times against each other in Chuck Norris' World Combat League; I'd love to see them throw down in a boxing ring. Good styles collision.
Carina Moreno vs Susi Kentikian- If Moreno could move up to take on Eileen, then she can face Susi. Both fighters are on a bit of a roll right now, so it would be pretty interesting.
Melinda Cooper vs Monica Lovato- These two were supposed to fight a while back, but Cooper and her trainer had an alleged falling out. The subsitute was Mariana Juarez and Lovato won via controversial decision. Lovato doesn't duck anyone and Cooper is back with a vengeance.
Mariana Juarez vs Elena Reid II- The first fight was a six round draw, with Reid starting off wella and Juarez stunning her in the third to turn the fight into a war. Juarez has become more aggressive and Elena's boxing skills have improved since then.
Brooke Dierdorff vs Stacey Reile- Big mouths and suspect chins, add a dash of porous defense and a strong dislike and you've got the making of the female version of Vargas vs Mayorga. I posted a message on Stacey's myspace telling her to contact Ryan about a possible title fight against Brooke, but the message was deleted. It's not the first time she's deleted messages.
Jennifer Barber vs Kaliesha West- These two have had some sparring against each other as well as with Ana Julaton out in Cali. The friendship would have to be put aside as these two undefeated fighters stepped in the ring for a high powered slugfest.
Ada Velez vs Ina Menzer- So, one minute TD loves Mezner and then he hates her. Well, Ada Velez is the real deal and has the perfect style to test this girl. I am of the strong belief that if this fight took place, Velez would win.
Melissa Hernandez vs Jeannine Garside- Straight forward punching meets awkward but always exciting speed slugging. This would be a fight of the year.
Ela Nunez vs Lisa Brown- I was so disgusted with the result of the Brown/Ashley fight. Ashley won the fight and that's the bottom line. Despite what some people seem to think, Ela Nunez BEAT Jeri Sitzes and that's the bottom line. If that were an eight round or ten round fight, Sitzes would have been knocked out.
Layla McCarter vs Missy Fiorentino- Layla McCarter is an interesting woman. When Holly Holm was fighting Belinda Laracuente, Layla said that Holly was going for the "safe thing" by fighting Laracuente. How dare someone like Layla McCarter say something like this. How many losses does she have? And also, Belinda almost beat Layla in that 3 round fight. As usual with Belinda and Chevelle, they go through these spells where they fight without any aggression. I picked Fiorentino because of her non-stop style. Seems like WBAN used to shove McCarter down our throats like Max Kellerman used to shove Zab Judah down our throats.
Jaime Clampitt vs Myriam Lamare- Styles make fights. The speedster with the rolling shoulder against the muscle bound body punching monster. If anyone ever questioned Jaime Clampitt legitimacy as a fighter, if she stepped in against Lamare, we'd see.
Kara Ro vs Maureen Shea- Ooooh pretty girls, so soft, so smooth, so... undefeated? This would be interesting because Ro is on the comeback trail and Shea has not really been heard from. A fight she lost was taken off her record because her opponent tested positive for marijuana. Kara needs to work on her stamina and take on some opponents that are of higher quality.
Ann Marie Saccurato vs Chevelle Hallback- War... huh... yeah... what is it good for?
Christy Martin vs Belinda Laracuente II- Oscar de La Hoya may be fighting Felix Trinidad late this year if they can come to an aggreement on the weight. This sounds like a similar circumstance. See, Lacacuente BEAT Martin and got robbed years ago. Much like De la Hoya beat Trinidad and was robbed, and Meldrick Taylor beat Julion Caesar Chavez and was robbed, Belinda deserved that victory. Even though Martin is waaaaaaaaaay up at middleweight and Belinda probably wouldn't fight over 147, this fight could still be made.
Holly Holm vs Laura Ramsey- I would love to see this fight simply because Holly would have to fight. The big problem I'm having with everyone who steps in the ring with Holly is that they act like they've got cement shoes. Ramsey, from what I have seen, fights similarly to Marvin Hagler and I hope, would pressure Holm all night long.
Jizelle Salandy vs Natascha Ragosina- Jizelle said she wants to fight Ragosina and put all those belts on the line. I say why not? It would certainly be a sight to see and who knows? She might be able to pull it off. One thing I'm coming to realize is that Laila Ali, with her trainers and strategists, probably would've beaten Ragosina, Wolfe, and Robinson. It's too bad we'll never get to find out.
Mary Jo Sanders vs Ann Wolfe- Bottom line is, after what happened against Holly Holm, I still believe Mary Jo is better. Laila Ali is not around, and while I have a feeling Mary Jo and Holly will be fighting in Detroit later this year or early next year, Mary Jo should be looking to fight Ann Wolfe. Why? Because she would be fighting the fighter Laila Ali supposedly avoided. I have a feeling Mary Jo and Jimmy Mallo were going to be moving up and eyeing Ragosina, after they fought Salandy. This is the perfect fight for Mary Jo. Remember when Roy Jones moved up and beat John Ruiz for the WBA Heavyweight Championship? Lennox Lewis was the recognized champion, and Mike Tyson and Holyfield were both out there for big money fights. But Jones moved back down to 175 to fight Tarver. I think Mary Jo should max this thing out.

Will Moreno be the one to derail the Kentikian Express? I think she, maybe Elena or the Hawaiian mongoose or Wendy and Hollie will definetly derail her unless any faulty judging gets in the way I highly doubt any of these women could threaten Kentikian. Moreno maybe, but from what I understand, she doesn't want to fight at 108 again, let alone 112. * Olszewski lost her last two fights * Reid hasn't looked sharp in quite some time, even losing to Olszewski * Rodriguez is too small to trouble Kentikian * Dunaway had a lot of trouble with Ortega who lost in the first round to Kentikian IMHO, only real threat to Kentikian would be Galassi. However, a fight between these two probably won't happen anytime soon.

By my oppinion she is not that good fighter at all. Look at her boxrec record. She never fought outside Italy. And her opponents...? But she is taller than Susi and she have longer arms. This could cause Susi some trouble. Just like Hockmi. Galassi definitelly wouldn't be finished that easy as Ortega.

When you're talking about Erin Toughill vs Natascha Ragosina, you must be talking MMA. Because Erin wouldn't last three rounds against Ragosina. Erin as a boxer is extremely overrated; she's a bigmouth who made an excuse for getting her butt handed to her by Ali and another excuse when Laura Ramsey knocked her through the ropes and out of the ring.

I said Erin because she probably could get a fight with Ragosina faster than Laura and Mary even though Laura and Mary fighting ragosina or themselves would be good but it takes promotions and both don't have alot of that.

How could say such "BLASTFORTREES" I admit the MONGOOSE is getting beaten down like MOONCAKEs and I do admit Rodriguez would get smothered with fist but Dunaway and Reid can still do it, I have alittle more faith in Hollie because contray to popular belief she beat Wendy but besides that she has motivation and revenge which would inspire her to beat Kentikian and Elena, poor Elena i don't know what is her problem lately it is truley discouraging but i rather not bother boxers like some many others do I mean yah i could know what i would say to most ever boxer but I rather not be hunted down and beaten lol. But back to Elena she needs to get her act together and quit getting passed by because if their is ever a Elena vs Melinda fight I don't want it to be bloody like Elena Vs Alica.....or worse

Kidding aside. I am glad to see Erin featured on that show. Believe it or not, she has had a lot of hard knocks in her life, but she never doubted herself. I am happy for her.

JR>>> you got that right! MMA Promoters ROCK! Not like the tight wads that promote women's boxing.
You can add up the ESPN boxing audience over 6 weeks and it does NOT equal what CBS did this past Saturday night. The place was full of screaming fans.
It pays to be a well-paying promoter. Women boxing promoters can't figure it out...you need to create a decent stable of growing fighters being paid real money OR you get very uneven fights and NO future for the sport. Marcel was one of the worst. For years he argued that "$200 a round" was OK for female fighters. He almost single handedly, along with an accomplice, stunted the growth of women's boxing in its earliest stages. There are GOOD female promoters out there, but by themselves, they cannot build the stable-base of female boxers. I would tell any woman boxer to look into MMA if you want to make money and get fans excited.
