I totally dig Jackie Nava...but...Nava-vs-Oliveras #2 does NOT look promising for her.
She was pasted 3 times. Obviously Jackie is the "punching bag" in any matchup with Oliveras...so all she can do is dance, pop a jab and then run away. But I have to give her credit for wanting to step in with Oliveras and especially offering to do it in Argentina.
Boxing history shows that if you have been devastated in the first fight, you will be KO'd again. A notable exception was Floyd Patterson, he was crushed by Ingmar Johanson(sp) but in the rematch with Johanson he did the crushing.
" Nava, who stays in the top of condition, said in retrospect, that she knows what went wrong for her in the fight with Oliveras. She said that she got off to a slow start, and suffered two early knockdowns, which really put her behind. Nava said that she feels that she could outbox Oliveras if the two tangle again in the ring."

I do not agree. Look at Goodson and Ortiz, look at Mahfood and Wolfe, and there are plenty others as well.
