Hi there!
I've got a question about the rules of this board.
It says: "Advertising and spamming are not allowed, but links to legitimate women's boxing web sites or to news about competitive women's boxing events or personalities may be posted."
My wife starts a Boxing Program in a Gym in Burbank.
My question would be: How could I promote this and follow the rules of the forum?
Sincerely, Matthias Sieber

Matthias -
Welcome aboard, and thanks for asking the question before jumping in to post! Feel free to post web links to your wife's program and to post here about any activities or issues there that you think may be of general interest to a worldwide women's boxing audience. (Many more people read this Forum than post in it).
If the program is primarily for amateur boxers, you might post an announcement about it in the Amateur Boxing section of the board with links so people could check it out in more detail - then follow up with any topics or questions of general interest that come up. We might get some new discussion about boxer training and preparation that way, and that could widen the scope here.
The rule is meant to discourage people from simply posting ads and spam that will not be of general interest - just so the board is mainly about discussing boxing issues rather than promoting products. Use discretion with that in mind and let's see what happens - if something you post seems problematic we can discuss it in email.
Dee
