Folks,This will go to show you that I never trained before, but I have always wondered how a boxer avoids this, the most embarrassing thing that could happen during a fight - having the urge to go.
Since a fight would probably end in a TKO decision if this would happen to any fighter, how does the fighter and trainer condition to avoid this from happening?
Has it ever happen to any fighter before?

Fight judge Chuck Giampa told me that judges and some referees use Imodium prior to fights. I don't know if fighters do it.

No matter how full the bladder of a boxer during the fight, adrenaline distracts your brain from the urge to go. But right before the fight, nerves urge you to urinate constantly.
