"BOXING HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN OLYMPIC SPORT. The ancient Greeks wrapped their fists in leather strips in the 7th century B.C. In the modern Games, gold medals have launched the sport's greatest figures: Muhammed Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman and Oscar De La Hoya all made their first appearances on the world stage with a victory in the Olympics." And so begins an article written by Katherine Dunn in "TIME" magazine about women finally getting their turn to shine in the sport of boxing at the Olympic Games. The article also includes 6 full-sized pages of color photographs. ...just thought I would pass it on as it was a good read.
