Gentlemen,
Assuming Christy Martin's hand can be soundly healed up and ready for her to try for that 50th victory again, I think a great match for her would be against Terri 'Road Warrior' Blair.
It would definitely not be an easy victory for Martin and Blair would not be knocked down like Stone.
Forget the records! Christy's is padded and Terri has been victimized a number of times from 'hometown decisions'.
They both are natural welterweights. They both are coal miner's daughters - Christy from West Virginia and Terri from Kentucky.
Both have a great deal of heart.
Neither of these two would give a quarter to each other and none would be expected.
This match up would show those that just watch womens boxing just how good a match two great womens boxers can put on and it would be the type of match a true womens boxing fan would covet to see.
Martin versus Blair: They were made for each other!
If only Arum or King or some other promoter with some connies or resources would put this fight on, it would not disappoint anyone that watched it either in person at ringside or on PPV as an undercard of a headliner like the Pac Man.
Well, gentlemen, what do you all think?

Ryan,
Do you think you could put that fight together?
I'm sure Terri Blair will fight anyone you put in front of her, but I guess the real question is will Christy and her people accept this match.

Jason the infidel's line about "getting rubbed out like an eraser" made me laugh. Good one!

Jason,
Victoria Cisneros did not even come close to 'rubbing Blair out like an eraser' and keep in mind, the fight was in New Mexico - where the 'homey' could be getting their ass beat on points and still win the decision all because the journeyman does not KO the 'homey'.
Such was the case in New Mexico that night when Blair landed everything except the kitchen sink on Cisneros' visage or mug, turning Cisneros' face into a swollen mess and you know why they gave the decision to Cisneros?
As they told William Abdul Jarvis, Terri Blair's trainer, they said Blair did not finish Cisneros off, indicative that they know Blair was putting a real finish on Cisneros - a real point-scoring hurt - but the 'finish' wasn't what they thought was a real high gloss finish - a KO - therefore, points mean nothing to them, even if Cisneros' face was telling a whole different story.
Therefore, Jason, so much for your eraser analogy!
Furthermore, ever since that fight, show me anyone noteworthy that Cisneros has beaten?
While you're looking, please take notice that Cisneros has the lost her last 4 fights, including one to Cecelia Braekhus and a rematch with Holly Holm!
Once again, if you overlook the matches that Blair was screwed in and the padded record of Christy Martin, what you have left is a perfect welterweight matchup and it's suprising that you fail to see that but yet Ryan Wissow can see it.
I guess Wissow - and I - see better than you.
