Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watch Holly Holm give a training lesson to two tv hosts. Well, wonder no longer. This actually a pretty fun video to watch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_CeWk6NIWw

Jason, what would be really funni is if Holly taped a parody of this clip where she pretends to actually beat up the two hosts. something like this. Holm could be marketed so much better. "PUT THE SWEET 'N LOW BACK ON THE TABLE." www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLifidBN5S4

thought I would just tag this here
from abqjournal.com
Champ Boxer Getting Lots of Help for Next MMA Bout
"Even with her brief cage experience, Holm already has attracted attention from a larger promotion. Winkeljohn said Strikeforce, which is owned by the same company that owns the UFC, has made an offer to Holm. When the time is right, Winkeljohn believes she can match the crossover appeal of ..... Gina Carano."
so for my unasked for 2 cents worth of thoughts >> who the heck is Holly gonna fight in Strikeforce? Meisha Tate? pleeeeeze, gimmee a break already. Are the plans to set up Holm down the road for a super-fight with either Gina Carano or Cyborg? Carano couldn't even get medical clearance to fight in June and as for Cyborg, Holly would be nuts to fight her. but oh well, I'm just a lowly observer.
TD, what the hay, ya gotta an opinion on this?

This actually a pretty fun video to watch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_CeWk6NIWwWatched it. Fun video. Those 2 TV ladies were in awe of Holly. She is buffed-great looking babe, no doubt about it. That and her striking will be her biggest advantages against Finney. Jan is one tough lady...if she gets HH on the ground, she has a great shot at winning. If they stay standing, then its Holly's fight. I've seen plenty of great boxers-kickers really figure out the 3 rd dimension ( the ground) and not get it...an loose arm or a tucked head and BLAMM, its over. Should be a fun night for both ladies as their strengths lie in UP vs DOWN. TD

Todd--
Meisha proved to be a gamer against Marloes, who beat Kauffman.
Holly made 135 pounds? Really? If she didn't, she should because she needs to stay away from Cyborg at 145...I saw Cyborg take a huge shot from Marloes, snicker and then jump all over Marloes. And Cyborg is better on the ground than standing.
Gina is toast. She fought poorly against Cyborg and now she has that in her head.
Holm V. Coenen would be a good crossroads fight for Holly. If she can make 135...

TD , I agree and disagree at the same time with what you say.
YES, I agree that as of right now, Coenen would most definetely be the best choice - the most logical selection for Holm's next MMA fight.
but I've changed my mind about a possible future fight between Holm and Cyborg. I now want to see it. But Holm would need several more cage match-ups because right now, she is winning by just being an excellent kick-boxer. I get the feeling that Holly enjoys MMA. as for Carano, I just don't know. Is there anything left there??
weight-wise >> Finney and Holm were both at ( 136 ) at weigh-in.

todd- I watched Holm V. Finney...HH sure looked heavier than 136...were they fighting at a catch weight.
And Jan was NOT there. Totally not in the same room. How can you expect to win a fight by doing almost nothing.
Holly-- geez, that was a boring performance especially for a left with long legs-- they have the ultimate fight ender, a left round kick under the elbow and right about on the liver.
Coenen or Kauffman would take Holly out and fast. But she can forget Cyborg--that's a slaughter waiting to happen. Seriously, she needs maybe 5 more MMA fights before she's ready.
Back to the weight-- NO WAY WERE THEY 136.

To steal a phrase from the greatest football coach in Indiana Hoosier history, "Not so fast, my friend!!!!"
Kauffman is absolutely no match for Holm. Holm would take out Kauffman like Grant took Richmond. Print it and stamp it in a block of marble.
Coenen vs. Holm >> right now I would go 50-50.
