Officially signed and announced...
Di Prazak vs Lindsay Garbatt on September 24th in Melbourne Australia.
World # 1 and WIBA Super-featherweight champ putting it all on the line. A real number 1 coming to Australia, not a hand picked opponant delivering a vacant title...this is the real deal. Win, lose or draw this fight is going to be a war and true test for both boxers. Garbatt has taken on all challengers and is doing it again. How good is Di Prazak...we'll know in September !!

I applaud you also for getting Garbatt to fight in Australia, I hope many good fighters can go to Australia, not just because of its beautiful tourist scene but because of the great boxers it has.

Hi Jason,
No mate, Diana will be fighting at super-feather for the forseeable future. She won the Australian light-welter title some 3 months ago, but here in Australia there is a shortage of female boxers so we have to take the fights we can when good opponants come along.
We are ecstatic to get Lindsay Garbatt to come to Australia. Will be an fantastic fight, and a real challenge for Di (and Lindsay !!)
Hopefully this fight will launch Diana Prazak onto the world scene...

I would ask Fresquez what put Holm on the national scene because I don't know if it was her, the number of fights or was it her fight with Lamare? I could easily say that beating Garbatt won't put her on the national scene but getting news reporters from around the world to witness the fight with Garbatt and seeking the fight be televised could but I am just a fan, lol. Good luck to both fighters in the land down under.
