arely said boop not me. now the question for TD and Jason is why would Yesica Bopp go to Mexico to take on Arely Mucino?
this is the girl(arely) that was beating up Kentikian before they stopped it on a technical.
I don't really think they will sign the business, but it's splashed in a couple of headlines already. so TD break it down, who wins? Jason should Yesica stay home in Argentina and play it safe. jan or feb is what they are thinking for a date in Mexico.

Arely's match with Susi K ended in headbutt, her level of fighting right know is unknown. Yessica is a strong fighter and Arely is a interesting opponent for her, alot better than her (yesica's) normal opponents. Yessica will of course have to deal with being an outsider and Mexican weather but if she can get thru that, I think she can definetly beat Arely. This will probably be the best match up in Mexico for the year. Arely rarely has good oponents just like yessica so this will be definitely interesting. I think Yessica will win this hands down. Yessica Bopp's goal is to better than Susi K and I don't think she will let Arely get in her way. Mucino just wants to fight the best fighters. Yessica has the motivation. I don't know if this fight will end in a tko or ko, these two rarely ko good oponents but because of what is at stake, I know this will be a heated fight.

Arely about 112, Bopp about 105...pretty interesting match up.
Both have fast feet, which is the tell, IMO.
Also IMO, Arely was beating Kentikian, also, it was an early stoppage. I've seen plenty of fighters cut 2 times as bad as that and the fight was NOT stopped.
Arely and Bopp are getting together because both fighters have about 100 ounces of fight trapped in 12 ounce bottles. They are going to have a great time. And no doubt, BOPP has more experience and a big disadvantage going to Mexico. Mexican fighters learn from the sparring ring, LEFT HOOKS TO THE BODY CHANGE EVERYTHING. Arely didn't throw many but I have to believe she is learning as she goes.
So far neither fighter has really been pressured by a good puncher, so it will be interesting to see who backs who up and then what happens?
I have to agree with Jason, that Bopp is the favorite in a neutral country, but slight underdog in Mexico. It will be a great fight.
Note to Fightfan...if something isn't working, change it. I once interviewed Sugar Ray and asked him how much respect he was going to give hagler ( nice way of saying, how afraid of hagler are you). Sugar smiled, " ...both fists worth, both feet worth." Very telling remarks and when you watch the fight, that's almost exactly how Sugar beat him, he moved and banged then moved side to side, spun and banged at angles but never staying flat for hagler to really draw a bead on.
Anyway, US women are at a disadvantage...there are no strong promoters in the US paying decent purses. So the field of fighters is being starved out of the sport. Sure, there will always be the highly passionate fighters come up but dam, when you think about Lucia Rijker never getting a fight with Christy Martin...you have to turn your thumb down on the USA.
Female boxing is growing in other places much better than the USA. Think about Lamare VS. Mathis...these two have already fought twice in pier six brawls. That's remarkable compared the putrid USA where 2 top fighters will end up NEVER having fought at a neutral venue in a televised fight.
