Dee, Weather you like it or not, media reporting has to be responsible if is ever going to have any credibility which includes the scores from Yankee stadium to who won the fight and how they won the fight at Isleta. I heard that...Chevelle lost 99-92, was knocked down twice. I was amazed. I had to see it to believe it. WBAN posted the first bogus stories out of NM. It was Jason who posted a youtube clip that finally showed how bogus "the media" really was. WBAN included. You can walk around and say, Chevelle said XYZ and therefore anything else is irrelevant. You miss the point by a mile. That point being, how does an opponent get a fair fight in NM? They can't even get a TRUTHFUL newscast, which YOU incorrectly but conveniently assert as " typical small market news skills". And because of that cumulative "aroma", fighters don't want to fight there. Now you can say what you want, but BS smells like BS no matter what YOU say. And it smells bad DEE and now you are part of it. I appreciate Chevelle saying Holly won the fight. That is truely a rare event for any fighter. However, to allow a lopsided score that incorporates a phoney 2 knockdown story to be the recap of this fight is just flat out wrong. And what media took the responsibility to correct that? HUH? And you think that is NOT important... ?? TD

fighters don't want to fight there. So Chevelle isn't a "fighter" now? Sheesh. TD, turn your caps lock off for the night and go to bed. Please.

Dee, i do believe it will be harder for Holm's to find an opponent by August of this year. I think it might be Cecilia but not in NM maybe out of state or country.

I also believe it will be harder, but it's been hard for a while. Chevelle's a "fighter" by my definition but she didn't do the one thing anyone who hopes to beat Holm at home will have to do, which is to knock her off her feet to get a 10-8 round (or two) to compensate the others where you'll be outscored. Chevelle's description of what happened is exactly what Holm tries to pull off every time she fights.
I've heard Holm's planning to fight at 140 lbs for a while now, BTW.
