WBAN reported this from Moreno's publicist www.womenboxing.com/NEWS2009/news110309morenoortiz.htm(NOV 3) Carina "La Reina" Moreno suffered her second professional loss when she relinquished her WBC minimumweight belt to Anabel Ortiz this past weekend in Toluco, Mexico. The fight went the full 10 rounds and scorecards read 96-94 twice and 97-93. "I couldn't get my punches off," said Moreno. "I felt a bit lethargic after the first few rounds. I take nothing away from Ortiz, she's a great fighter. I've been promised an immediate rematch from promoter Ignacio Huizar. I'm hoping we can fight again sometime in December." Trainer Rick Noble went on to say, "It's very tough to fight in this elevation. I take full responsibility for this loss as I know I over-trained Carina. Ortiz was ready to go and we take nothing away from her. We're looking for a rematch, preferably in the U.S. " A rematch between Moreno and Ortiz could happen as early as December. KO Entertainment promoter, Ignacio Huizar made this fight happen and it looks like he's interested in putting on the rematch sometime in the near future. Carina Moreno and Dr. Noriega want to thank KO Entertainment for there great hospitality. Mario Serrano Publicist ~ Team Moreno

Mario Serrano Publicist ~ Team Moreno Well I am glad that this has finally been settled, i am sorry about Carina losing but this is why i always say make sure to fight in that area before a title match but this has more to do with consistence and eagerness an a bit of just little mistakes. Hopefully Carina will get that rematch but i kinda doubt but we will see.
