Apparently SOME folks are having trouble telling WHO the promoter's girl is.
That ain't all that hard to figure out, BERNIE!
Who's making the larger purse? Who's name is bigger/higher up on the fight poster? Who gets the best accomodations? And who gets the spotlight in front of the press and of course, indirectly, to the judges BEFORE the fight? Who gets another fight if they the fill the auditorium or already has a multi fight contract?
Its NOT a riddle, its pretty dam obvious. Ask her if she has a multi-fight contract opportunity or current deal with said promoter. Ask her how much her purse is compared to her opponent.
Promoters look at every fighter who they think are the DRAW as an investment. They do whatever they can to protect and grow their investment. Does this mean they would give rotten food, shoddy accomodations, poor press treatment, the worst dressing room, lectures to the judges about their girl, zero media attention to the other fighter or spiked water to the opponent? NO. THAT WOULD BE SO WRONG. SO BAD. SO EVIL. NO HONEST PROMOTER WOULD EVER CONSIDER DOING THAT...
- slap-smack- OK, back to reality. Of course a devious boxing promoter would not hesitate to do anything to guarantee a return on their investment. ANY-FREAKING-THING.
Boxing is a slim pit with one fighter thrown a rope and the other a rock. Its all hidden behind the OPINION of the judges.
So you have to ask yourself, who won the first fight, by any account, easily. And now she goes south, into a new country, into her opponents other "home". Any reasonable fight fan has to wonder, how fair is this fight likely to be judged?
ADVICE TO UNDERDOG FIGHTER, THROW FOR A KO, DRINK ONLY SEALED_BOTTLED WATER. OR BE OK WITH WHATEVER THE OUTCOME.
